some mental riddles*** have a non-rational answer, designed to break down rational concepts; or conventional answers; for response.... (***the art of Koans have no inherent, capable, or verbal response(s), to questions); which have no definitive answers. In such cases, words are incapable (roadblocks to comprehension).
However "cotton holes in Keyholes is NOT a mental riddle. Rather is a paranoid attempt to exclude that which the speaker does not know, and fears as a result.... I quote: "time for a good ol pasta story".
I don't see the answer as being anything less than a pointless point. I see it as a excuse of a a metaphor, with no additional existence, other than to paint he who stated as much, as paranoid. Paranoia begets fear, fear begets poor dialect and/or blind false mirages for insight....! IMHO.....
a story is a story, a Koan a Koan, paranoia is fear, fear makes on blind to reason. All I see in said story is nothing worth more than small idle talk.
Keep up, and give us a real story Pasta. One that doesn't lack for details, or if you desire to use a mental riddle, then do as much....never mind...!
