...I didn't see it happen, but I just looked it upThat's a tough break for Kevin Ware (no pun intended)!
VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED:

I'm not gonna watch it. I've seen the Livingston video and it's not something I need to see again. Feel bad for the kid though.
Don't watch it (I wish I didn't). I think it is actually even worse then the Livingston one.
Also bball players are jumping as high as they can and landing on hardwood, not turf.I've always wondered why we see this kind of thing so much in basketball. I think it's because a lot of these guys have so little actual muscle on their legs. I remember Tracy McGrady had legs that looked like twigs. The only time you see a football player's leg snap in half is when a helmet goes through it.

This was easily more gruesome than Livingston IMO. I saw the live replay (they showed it at least once before they decided never to show it again, ever lol). I've seen some stuff like it in MMA so I think that prepared me for it but still pretty fuggin cringe worthy.
Hard to predict the future for the guy. Obviously the leg is broken, but it was broken halfway down his lower leg. If there's no ligament damage then maybe they can get the leg to heal well and he'll be ok?
I don't want to watch it, but my thought was that this sounds different than Livingston's fall (that I watched). Livingston looked like his lower leg was pointing a different direction right at the knee, tearing up his knee in many terrible ways. They said this was a broken leg, severely broken and gruesome, but is there ligament damage?
I was surprised that CBS kept replaying it over and over again. I didn't really catch what had happened at first, but you could just tell by the reactions of the Louisville players that it was something crazy.
Not gonna click on link!
Don't, I am an idiot, I clicked, it made me physically cringe, cover my own eyes and utter a groan that may have actually meant something in Turkish.
