great guy and i hope he comes back....

but he is running on fumes. howard has given us everything he has... and saved the season. for that he earned my respect. howard is alright with me.

On coach Nate McMillan:

I love him. I love him. I love him. Great coach. And he’s not a guy who feels it’s his way or no way. He communicates with his players. He trusts his players. Him and I have a great relationship. He does a great job of communicating with me. And I think he believes in me. And I believe in him. And he's a big reason why I'm here. I'm pretty sure he was one of the guys who voted to have me here. And when him and I met over the summer, I told him. He asked me what I thought of this team. And I said, 'First, let me start with you. I've always respected and admired the way you've coached. So, I would love to work with you.'

abm.... tell me its not NEW MOON!

but yah,,, that is an awesome howard article.

ABM - how was Moon? I thought it sounded pretty good and have been thinking about renting.

Sorry, dude. Watching a movie (Moon). Got the headphones on.

22 minutes before that post, there was a full moon in Aries/Libra. It only happens once every 4 weeks. Coincidence? I think not.

The planets must be aligning. Exactly 22 minutes after that post, I took a crap.

I think Juwan would make a fine addition to the coaching staff after he retires. I especially like his hard fouls. Note the harder he fouls someone the more he pretends to make sure they're okay, as if it were an accident that he decked them. Genius.

That's why I don't post on the OT board much. Don't want to see anyone get hurt.

I can't remember Mrs. Rabbit's name, but she was a widow because of the bad farmer. Pretty violent story. Everyone dies in the end.

Are you a grapefruit salesman?

resign howard

I get confused when I read this, MIXUM. You're always wanting guys to "resign". Now, do you actually mean what you've written, to resign as in you want them to quit, or to you want them to be "re-signed", as in to sign a new contract? I suspect that it's the latter, but given that it's you, I just can't be sure. You're an enigma wrapped in poor grammar.

I prefer George's rabbits, Lenny. Look at da rabbits!

they said in one of the recent games that the after foul concern is how he sheds flagrants, seems to work pretty well (though he still does get his share).

or maybe that was camby... well, same thing.

I was a little indifferent to the Howard signing initially.
I didn't expect much from a guy that played in the jurassic era.

Lo and behold, the gut has been great, not only producing on the court, but being invaluable to the young guys off it as well.

Not sure whether it has anything to do with the specialist he saw last offseason (Grover) enabling his play this year or not, either way,
Juwan deserves Kudos for leaving it all out on the court during his swan song.

I have been very pleased with Howard this season and would be very open to him coaching in the future. But, I hope we don't need to re-sign him. If Oden is back and healthy, Camby is re-signed, and Joel is on the mend, then I don't think Howard will be needed, especially with Pendergraph and perhaps Freeland.

The more I read about Howard the more i'm struck by how he is such a class act. When we signed him I was a little apprehensive. Figured he would be a locker room only guy. Glad I was wrong, him and all the other grandpa's we got this season (camby/miiller) have changed the dynamic of this team for the better.

Juwan is 20 times the player that Pendergraph is and 100 times Freeland. We need experience, not know-nothings.

With Greg back, and Camby re-signed (this is the sticking point) I don't think that Howard would be needed. At that point, I would rather get some other pieces.
