Well, according to Wikipedia, the country singer she IS involved with also hosts a singing competition, so maybe they are all the same.

I don’t think country singers are considered a race so you’re good. And yes, many pop-country artists sound similarly shitty.

I have to say though, the few times that I've listened to country music, their sound quality is always excellent. I'm a little bit of an audiophile and I pay close attention to audio quality.

It’s very highly-produced/engineered. I will actually admit there are a handful of pop country songs that are bangers. But I’m kind of a sucker for a *good* pop song of any sub genre.

I like older country music, when it was a type of folk music, essentially. Or, one could argue, a type of blues. I've often dubbed the country music of the past few decades "twang-pop."
