Newsday and TSN are reporting that the Rangers and Lundquist are in fact discussing an extension. I'd think this would need to get resolved sooner rather than later now, no? I don't think the Rangers would want this hanging over the team during the season, it would be quite the distraction, especially if it gets toward the trade deadline and he is still not signed....On a good note, the article reported that he said he has no reason to want to leave NY.....
