Aldridge became the first NBA player to record 450 points, 200 rebounds and 25 steals in his team’s first 20 games since 2004, when Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki accomplished the feat. Aldridge is averaging 22.4 points and 10.0 rebounds this season and he’s scored at least 20 points 16 times —tying LeBron James and Kevin Durant for most in the NBA.

Typo - He's averaging a career high 23.4 ppg, to go along with a career high 10.0 rpg, and career high 2.7 apg, a career high 1.3 spg, a career high 22.9 PER, a career best 23.9 DRB%, a career best 15.1 TRB%, a career best DRtg of 102 and a career high .171 WS/48.

Hmmm, I think you may be right. He's may actually be benefiting from playing next to a true center.

I blame Golliver, even though Freeman wrote it.

But I think it's more than just Lopez. We're always looking for simple solutions and explanations. I do think Lopez is a huge factor, but I also think the perimeter shooting has as much a role in this. Lopez and the wings are like magnets pulling defenders away from LA. That's the beauty of the Blazer offense. It's all about LA, and every piece on the court plays a significant role in making his job easier, more so than any team in the NBA right now.
