I was taught at Forest Hills grade school, I believe the same school you went to, that if you don't know the sex of your subject then you refer to that subject as a male.

Yep, I didn't pay attention to the name until you pointed out my error. Perhaps, and I guess I'll never know for sure, even if I had noticed the first name, I might have thought, well, this is Europe and some men's names look very similar to a woman's name where I come from.
But do you see how clever Sly is? He got us off politics and onto something really unimportant like this. We might as well be talking about the best way to cook a steak.
Think I'll start a thread on a fabulous steak I recently had.
