The Fort Wayne Mad Ants ended the regular season with a 110-104 home victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

The Mad Ants got off to a quick start going up by 7 points in the first 4 minutes of play but the Sioux Falls Skyforce quickly countered that by going up 6 to end the period.

The Skyforce led for most of the second period until a Ryan Wittman three pointer with 5:00 left in the half tied the game up at 49 apiece. Wittman scored 11 second period points for the Ants as they headed into the locker rooms up 67-61.

The Mad Ants pulled away in the third building a comfortable 10 points lead going into the fourth. The Mad Ants led by as many as 12 points in the final period but the Skyforce made a late run to cut the lead to just 2 with 1:00 left in the game. A pair of free throws from Mad Ants Darnell Lazare and a driving layup from Chris Kramer sealed the deal for the Ants.

Ryamond Sykes led all scorers with 32 points for the Skyforce. Sean Marshall added 23 and Chris McCray finished with 22.

Lazare led the Ants with 30 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Kramer finished with 25 points and 6 assists and Wittman contributed 15 off of the bench.

The Mad Ants will clinch the 8th and final playoff spot if the Idaho Stampede fall to the Utah Flash and the Texas Legends fall to the Austin Toros.
