OT Magnitude 7.1 earthquake hits Mexico City

Didn't they just have an 8 down there? Earthquakes, Fires, Hurricanes, threats of nuclear war. Maybe it is the end of the world.
 
On a serious note my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Mexico

Actually had a family member about 15 miles from the epicenter of this.
Shes alright called me before I even heard about the earthquake.
Asked if I could tell the family. Told her to enjoy the last couple days of her vacation.

Because you know, we already started with the U.S. annexation of Texas. Then, after disagreeing where the Mexican-American border should be, we decided to say "fuck it, let's just kill them and take rest of the land".

You know, I used to think that we could sit down, have a few drinks, a few laughs and a rational conversation. You seriously put that in doubt.

Oh, History, why are you ignored.

Its not like the US is some extreme evil that needs a constant bashing.

Any time a more advanced culture encounters a lessor culture, the more advanced culture dominates, absorbs or eliminates the other. This has been a constant from the dawn of time.

This country was founded upon the tenants of Freedom or Religion and Economic opportunities.

Death, destruction, displacement, slavery and genocide.

The freedom to commit that on those who stood in their way.

It doesn't excuse it and that's a tired argument.

I care that this shit is happening in MY country. Or maybe I'm not a "real American" in some people's eyes.

Bud, no one is questioning you being an American. History by definition is a past tense.

And its no an argument of "other countries do it" rather a statement of fact that the advancement of one culture over another has been a constant from the dawn of time, including the domination of Homo Sapiens over other sub human beings.

And they're Natives. They were here before we called this place America.

Mexicans, Canadians, Nicaraguans, Brazilians, El Salvadorians, Colombians, Cubans etc
