I've been to Colombia a few times, beautiful country. Back in the 80s my uncle bought a working flour mill up in the mountains, had a working water wheel in it. Turned it into a really cool home with the water wheel turning inside of the living room. He sold for big money and used that to buy trucks to haul chickens. At least that's what he told us what the trucks were for.

The spelling specialist in here remind me of my days as a development manager.

The first time it came to mind was when I was reviewing the results of a Design Review to see what sort of
criticisms and comments we were getting. Sort of a gauge on where we really were, in making progress.
Nearly 100 total documented criticisms and comments in all, so that was worth while. Well maybe not quite so much when you dig a little deeper.

I had about 20 of my people in the review and probably 15 more from outside, System assurance people and Field people. Just about 70% of the items were friggin spelling errors! That is a lot of high paid horses spending time and energy to find spelling errors!

I told my lead guy to add another step in the review process, have the Review ready documents reviewed by three secretaries and correct after this, before sending them out for Design Review. I can't see these errors, apparently you guys can't either, but they can, and way less costly.

One more rule was implemented, spelling errors were not to be documented as Design review errors. Just a mark in the document.

Sorry to hear of the earthquake....fortunately last week's Hualien quake didn't directly hurt my inlaws there but did destroy some long standing architecture and caused many to lose their lives.....I hope folk are safe and wish the rescue workers great success ....

First of all you need to know that when I call out racists I'm not including those who are aren't. Not sure why you'd be upset over that. Second, Pop was right, we live in a racist fucking country. Whether you'd like to admit it or not. Thirdly, calling those racists out whenever the fuck I feel like it, isn't and never will be racist.

Who did you think would say "fuck em, they're Mexican"?

Second, pop should step down and let a black guy or a woman coach. Easy to say your privilege exists (which it does) and then not do anything about it.

Third, preemptively calling out people based on your preconceived notion of how they feel in their soul is bullshit.

I see the insensitive things people here say to you and I'd classify them under many different categories.

I haven't been following all the controversy over this black panther movie but I've come to one conclusion......

I'm extremely happy that Hollywood has finally made something good like this instead of b movie type crap outside of a few A list Denzel, Jamie Foxx and Idris Elba movies.

Haven't seen it but I will.

I'm sure I rambled on but the point to me is that if you always expect a negative you'll never know if you were actually right. Next time you see a thread you think will end that way, PM me about it and we'll discuss it after a few pages.

The only people who would find pleasure in Mexico's plight are school shooter types and animal abusers.

That's patently untrue, but typical of your continual race-baiting posts.

Some here including myself have a problem with illegal, criminal invaders who are a MASSIVE drain on or economy, who have tainted our election integrity and weakened our freedoms, and some of those criminals come from Mexico.

If Mexico wasn't a shithole run by drug cartels and their corrupt politicians, it could be a highly successful and attractive country to live in, which is a sincere hope of mine.
