that was an epic draft class, an all-timer!Who I think Portland will pick at #7: B Mathurin
Darkhorse pick at #7: D Daniels
If Portland trades down: J Duren
If Portland trades up: P Banchero
Who I want the most: K Murray
Who I think Portland will pick in the second round: J Champagnie
Who I'd like to see picked in the second round: K Bown, W Kessler, J LaRavia, EJ Liddell

Same though- Sharpe.
- Mathurin.
Murray if he drops.
This finals and playoffs have reinforced to me how far we are from truly competing. None of the college players available to us at 7 will be truly ceiling raisers for our team. Nor will Collins/Grant/OG. Go big or go home with Sharpe.
fucking has rules? If it requires a safe word count me out!Why is it that some of you can’t just follow the fucking rules?

Am I the only one who thinks there’s a low chance we’re even going to draft anyone?
And Dame has been heavily invested in the process so far, which I guess could be a smokescreen but it sure seems like Dame is into it.I used to think that until Cronin started hiring all these draft gurus.

Did you watch this clip? Talking about Sharp's camp and their influence and how things went down at Kentucky.
It concerns me because listening to that beat reporter, it smacks of Ben Simmons just a bit. Could be a real issue. But he was saying that he thinks Sharp should go somewhere that’s good at developing talent and I couldn’t think of a better place than with Dame.My biggest fear with him is his competetive drive and mental makeup. He made NBA level moves with impeccable footwork at age 16. There's a clip of a game from his sophomore yr when he dropped 58pts in HS that is jaw dropping. But he and his handlers ducking playing at every opportunity is worrisome. What are they trying to hide? You compare that to guys like Mathurin/Davis/Murray who built up their stocks by playing.... It's night and day.
News today from Fischer and Givony says it's likely for Sharpe to drop to OKC at 12.It concerns me because listening to that beat reporter, it smacks of Ben Simmons just a bit. Could be a real issue. I don't think most of the people posting in this thread actually think we'll draft someone at 7. The rules of this thread made it likely that the results of your data collection wouldn't make much sense. Here's a summary of the voting so far -

Interesting that this forum thinks the guy that's the biggest unknown is the most likely to be drafted by the Blazers.
Two weeks until draft day!
Rules:
*Make the pick at 7 - no trading up/down/out
*Two Choices: Pick + Darkhorse
#7: Dyson Daniels
Darkhorse: Jalen Duren
GO!
