One of the best programs in the country and we're stuck with this piece of shit..... why?

So far he's cost us at least one huge game two years in a row. Which one will he blow this season?

He's still our kicker because we haven't anyone better. That's just the fact of the matter.

In 2012, the Oregon Ducks 4th down conversion was 65%, Maldanodo's career FG% is only 58%. With as efficient as the Ducks are at scoring TDs, when is it ever a good idea to send him out there?

It's pretty much unheard of to have a higher 4th down conversion percentage than FG%, it changes all the conventional wisdom.

I noticed our freshman kicker kicked 2 kick offs out of bounds. Dear lord, please tell me he has better accuracy than that.

Yeah, that wasn't very encouraging. I just don't see how we couldn't have recruited anyone better than Maldonado in three years. Good grief.

Not saying that having consistent kicking game isnt a big deal... but being how UO doesnt run things like many schools and pull Scholarships year to year. Bringing in more and more kickers until you find one that works makes it difficult on depth of the rest of the team. What if getting a 3rd and 4th kicker means one less scholarship for a big time RB, WR, or any other player?
