It's only a matter of him figuring out how to use these tools; building the often talked about basketball IQ. He's a smart guy, so I have little doubt in my mind that he can learn the game. I think he's a bit too goofy and awkward for fantastic dribbling, but the midrange, and post up can come. As for rebounding, he can out jump just about anyone if he's in good position, but I often see him pushed out of position by players who are better at judging where the ball will land.</div>

In a game with defense, he would get the ball stolen 89% of the time if he attempted that dribbling.

It was because you quoted a post that was removed and I wanted to end that tangent of the discussion.

I actually laugh because we were high on Splitter, McRoberts and Glen Davis.

Loving Sean Williams.

The personal attacks when I didn't even mention the Celtics are also sickening. The pot thing was a joke...I'm a BC fan and a Sean Williams fan.

But you guys seem to think he's some sort of hall of famer.... He's an excellent shot blocker, could be one of the best all-time and a decent rebounder. He doesn't have an offensive game whatsoever and without Jason Kidd he would score like 4-5 points per game. His offensive game is dunking....stop trying. Please it's just unrealistic expectations to put on the kid.</div>

75% of his shots, and 77% of his points are not from dunks. NEXT
</div>

67% of his points are from inside/close, 21% of his points are from the free throw line.

So roughly 12% of his shots are from outside of 3 feet. NEXT
</div>

He's a big man. What do you expect? Would you rather have him launching three's with RJ and Vince?

Sean Williams' game is unproductive and yet surprising at the same time. While most would anticipate assisted-dunk scoring, our anticipation ends not in immodest speculation, but analysis of his current level of game. Sean Williams has exhibited a level of play that is above the standard for a player of his supposed ability; he has striven to learn the game of basketball beyond what is expected of him, and we love him for it.

Umm.. If he was the best shotblocker of all-time I'm pretty sure he would have a chance on making the Hall of Fame. So it looks like your overrating him just as much as we are. And last I remember Sean killed Rondo in the open court Rajon couldn't even hit a lay-up cuz SWat came from the other side of the court n killed it. Rondo is a flat out joke. He plays good defense b/c he is fast. Problem is, to be a good PG you need to do other things like ya know.. have court vision and pass well, maybe shoot a lil bit, create for others, etc.

That's an absolutey insane play...Sean gets up in the air so quick...its ridiculous.

Honestly lately I've been seeing him rebound better, defend better and add different dimensions to his game. When the season started it looked like his only points would come from putbacks and lobs but now he has a nice little jumper and is facing up players to drive.

The kid's progressed so much so quickly...it's gonna really fun to see him further develop over the next two seasons. Who know's how high this kid's ceiling is...honestly Kmart wasn't really a great player til his 3rd season...imagine how far Sean can progress...it's crazy.
