A drunk 18-year-old man on Wednesday urinated on an 11-year-old during a New York City-bound JetBlue flight out of PDX, according to a report in this morning's New York Post.

The tabloid reports that Robert Vietze, of Vermont, told authorities he'd consumed eight alcoholic drinks. He stumbled away from his seat and urinated on the girl, whose father and sister had gotten up to use the restroom. The father confronted Vietze when he returned to his seat and saw what had happened, the paper reports.

"I woke up to this man yelling and literally looking like he was about to punch this kid in the face," said the witness, who asked not to be identified.

Flight attendants separated the pair and removed Vietz to the back of the plane. They attempted to clean up the mess with liquid soap from bathrooms, and helped to comfort the traumatized girl.

Vietze was taken off the plane by Port Authority police and faces accusations of indecent exposure.

I'd have been pissed off if it was my kid.

First, how does an 18 y/o get 8 drinks?

Second, JetBlue doesn't have 1st Class, right? So he paid like $50 for booze on the flight?

Are flight attendants exempt from carding? I've never seen it happen on a plane before, but then again I've never seen a teenager ask before.

I would have been escorted off to Port Authority also because I would have committed a felony against that 18 year old, had he done that to my daughter

When I was freshly 21 on my way (us airways) to Las Vegas, they carded me for a heineken on the plane

Update:

A Vermont teen is off the hook after allegedly urinating on a sleeping young girl during a red-eye flight this week from Portland to New York.

Robert Vietze, 18, of Warren, Vt., was taken into custody by officers from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey when JetBlue Flight 166 landed Wednesday morning at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Vietze was issued a federal summons for indecent exposure, said Port Authority spokeswoman Sara Beth Joren. "He was intoxicated and was charged as it's against the law to pee on another person," Joren said.

But Vietze was later released when the Eastern District of New York declined to prosecute, Joren said.

Here's what Vietze allegedly did on the 5 1/2-hour flight that departed Portland International Airport at 10:29 p.m. Tuesday, loaded with 150 passengers:

According to The New York Post, Vietze told police that the flight was underway when he realized he needed to relieve his bladder after consuming eight alcoholic drinks. He rose from his seat and walked five seats forward toward the toilets. And then he stopped.

An 11-year-old girl, traveling with her sister and father, was seated alone while the others used the lavatories.

A witness told the Post that Vietze unzipped and let go, directly into the child's lap.

"I was drunk, and I did not realize I was (urinating) on her leg," the 6-foot-4, 195-pound man reportedly told law enforcement sources, according to the Post.

The girl's father emerged from the restroom just in time to catch the man "midstream," the Post reported.

Flight attendants had to separate Vietze and the enraged father, witnesses told the paper.

A woman who answered Vietze's home phone refused to comment on his arrest.

A spokeswoman for JetBlue, Sharon Jones, declined to discuss the incident, saying only that the airline was conducting its own investigation. It remains unclear whether Vietze was served alcohol during the flight.

"Our policy is to serve alcohol to adults, aged 21 and older," said Eva Capous, another JetBlue spokeswoman. "Due to the ongoing investigation, we can't comment on anything further."

The airline has apparently reached out to the girl's outraged family, according to a Tweet responding to a would-be passenger.

"@JetBlue i'm considering a flight soon on JetBlue, but this totally disgusted me. i want to know what you are doing," @tom_julian45 wrote.

The airline replied: "We are handling this with the family directly."

Update 2:

JetBlue flier who 'peed' on girl could be axed from US Ski Team

He probably just pissed away his Olympic dreams.

The drunken JetBlue passenger who treated a sleeping 11-year-old girl like his personal potty is a member of the US Ski Team who refused to apologize yesterday for the high-altitude humiliation.

Robert "Sandy" Vietze, 18, is among the 75 most elite skiers in the nation -- but he may have blown his chance to compete in the 2014 Winter Games in Russia.

His name was bumped from the team's developmental roster yesterday afternoon, although officials refused to comment about his status.

The leaky loser expressed no remorse outside his family's palatial Vermont home, where he ignored questions about the incident and showed no interest in apologizing to his victim.

"We have no comment, nothing to say," snapped Vietze's mother, Abigail, as they hauled luggage and ski equipment from a gray BMW.

Vietze had taken the red-eye flight from Portland, Ore., to JFK Wednesday on his way home from a weeklong training camp with the US Ski Team at Mount Hood in Oregon.

It was lousy luck for his young victim, who was flying with her sister and cancer-stricken father on a trip to see her grandmother on eastern Long Island for the first time since his diagnosis.

Soon after takeoff, Vietze stumbled from his seat five rows behind the child and emptied his bladder onto the girl, who was briefly left alone while her dad and sister were in restrooms.

"I was drunk, and I did not realize I was pissing on her leg," the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Vietze later told cops, according to law-enforcement sources.

The girl's father, a Stage 4 cancer patient, caught Vietze midstream and tried to wipe him out.

"F- -k that kid. I don't want him near my family!" he yelled.

Vietze slurred that he had suffered "an accident," according to another passenger.

Flight attendants had to separate the men.

Vietze admitted to cops that he had consumed eight alcoholic beverages before boarding JetBlue Flight 166.

He was issued a federal summons for indecent exposure, but federal prosecutors later decided to drop the case, according to Port Authority cops.

The father refused to allow his traumatized 11-year-old daughter to be interviewed by cops, likely sparing Vietze criminal charges.

Yesterday, the girl's family attempted to recover from the disgusting incident by attending the Yankee game.

Last May, when Vietze was invited to join the ski team, he was the toast of the Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield, Vt., which describes itself as "a world-class ski academy."
"He's a very nice boy, one of the nicest, most respectable young people I've ever met," said a neighbor, Colin Seaman.

"It would be very hard for me to believe that this even happened."

KIDS URINATE AND CRY ON FLIGHTS ALL THE TIME YO.

How is he not being prosecuted? Since when is "I was drunk" been an excuse for anything?

1. The kid was 18 and should not have been drunk. He should be cited for an MIP regardless.

2. The kid exposed himself to an 11 year old girl. He should be cited for indecent exposure, regardless.

3. The kid pissed on another person.... that has to be illegal.

4. He has no remorse over what happened? Seriously? I'm glad the little fuck got kicked off the team and I hope the family sues him.

he did not "expose" himself. He started to urinate. he didn't even know there was somewhere there to expose himself to.

This is pretty funny to me only because once one of my friends crashed out drunk on my couch, then I woke up and he was pissing on the ground next to my bed in the middle of the night.

yeah i had a buddy who would piss himself nearly every night he got drunk, like piss in the closet, in the corner, in a plant, stand up and piss on his bed...i wonder what ever happened to him...probably not on the us ski team either

maybe its a pre-existing medical condition! :MARIS61:

i bet this guy is loving the attention. he's probably bragging to his friends. "yeah dude, i was so wasted I started pissing on this little girl on the plane!"

totally brah, i was like all toastee from some epic headys and swillin some 40 oz and whizzed in my ski pants, i was all, whoaaaaaa

Call Samuel L Jackson, I think there's a movie in all this!

PISS ON A PLANE!

This is sick! Airport security should be doing something about this. A drunk teen?! Unbelievable! This calls for some serious disciplinary actions! Airport personnel are suppose to be strict, they can't afford to be lax nowadays!
