Legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao faces a unique challenge Saturday, as he faces welterweight challenger Jeff Horn in his backyard of Australia. The fight is expected to be in front of the largest live crowd that Pacquiao has boxed, with Suncorp Stadium housing upwards of 60,000 people. Suncorp actually had to get a permit to increase its capacity, as the event is viewed by many Australians as the biggest boxing event in the country's history.

This will mark Pacquiao's third fight since his infamous bout with Floyd Mayweather in 2015. The 38-year old went 2-0 in 2016, decisively defeating Timothy Bradley Jr., followed by a win over Jessie Vargas where Pacquiao reclaimed the WBO welterweight title that he lost to Mayweather.

Horn is attacking Pacquiao much in the same way I expect McGregor to attempt against Mayweather next month, albeit much more successfully (through 1 round) than Conor has any prayer of.

Guys, if you want to see real competition, watch this, not the lame NBA Finals. This has a physicality and intensity that's just not there in the NBA anymore. This is a real sport.

And the fans are so much more into it. Boxing fans are the best in sports.

Didn't take long for superior technique to generate an advantage over superior physical tools. Manny is owning this fight (first round notwithstanding).

Horn nearly trying to turn this into MMA. Put Manny in a headlock in the 3rd, and basically just threw him to the mat in the fourth. I think he's starting to realize his disadvantage.

Ha! Manny's taunting him now, basically challenging Horn to take his best shot and see if he can actually connect on something. Horn's wearing himself out. He's gonna have trouble in the late rounds--if he reaches them.

Manny is such a great boxer. He's lost so much foot speed but he's creating holes and slipping punches. Horn is going to have to knock him down to gain an advantage. Manny is just so much better technically.

Best round since the first for Horn. You could tell Manny felt a couple of those big shots in the 6th. I've got it 4 rounds to 2 for Manny so far. Apparently Atlas disagrees, but whatever...

Only way he can win. He can't outbox Manny; he can only outbrawl him. Those cuts on Manny's head are ominous. The tide may be turning. Color me surprised.

Manny is going to have to pick up the pace if he continues bleeding. Horn is making this fight closer. I am impressed.

This is the dirtiest fight I've seen in a while. Ref isn't doing a very good job about warning fighters about clinching and head butting. Not surprised it's this bloody.

And here it is. This 9th round is so lopsided. Horn's got nothing left.

Gotta say, despite clearly losing tonight, Horn's acquitted himself well. Showing himself to be a warrior in this 10th. No quit in this guy.

Does he have enough left to have a chance of a KO in these last two rounds? I doubt it.

Both guys are missing terribly. Not much being those punches.

Wow. Just a phenomenal fight. I'm not really a boxing fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Impossible for me not to project what we saw tonight toward Mayweather-McGregor. That fight's not going to be close.
