"In the first game, we fouled them too much an they [scored] too much in transition," Manu Ginobili said. "In Game 2, they stopped running but they beat us on offensive rebounds. Tonight we didn't foul them, they didn't beat us on the offensive boards, Amare scored seven points and they killed us anyway. That's the tough part to swallow."

He's flummoxed! They're unstoppable! And yet we beat them twice. Not bad.

A lot of Lakers' fans wanted to face the Suns.

I did not. Their offense actually kind of worries me. They're rolling right now.

lol it'll be a good series LA vs Suns, at least a better opponent than the boring Nuggets.

Cavs are not beating Magic, if they get through Boston. ;)

What? Why is that? The Spurs HAVEN'T won a game and they are healthy. We weren't even close to having our full roster and we beat them twice.

We did snag two games, but the three blowout losses where the team utterly failed to compete at all makes the two series a push for me in terms how well the Blazers played the Suns compared to how well the Spurs have matched up against them.

I disagree. The undermanned Blazers gutting out two wins against this Suns machine is much more impressive than the Spurs rolling over in the 4th quarter, at home, on Friday. Thus far, Portland looks like a team that has heart, while the Spurs seem uninspired and disinterested.

Because admitting that the Suns are simply a very good team playing great basketball renders a week and a half of bitching and moaning about the Blazers laughable. Hence, it's best to stick to the original meme, even when results show how ridiculous some parts of it were.

Uninspired and disinterested? I think the Spurs wanted it BADLY. You could see it in their eyes and hear it in their frustration after the games. They just couldn't beat Phoenix no matter how hard they tried.
