The MarAzul is ready for sea again, after several days in the Shipyard in Oxnard.
She should be heading up the coast for Morro Bay by the end of the week.

You need ghost flames on that baby!

Heck, you can cut MarAzul in half and put it back together with FlexTape.

The boat, not the poster. BioFlexSeal has not yet hit the market.

I'm sure. Looks like rubber undercoating.

UC Santa Barbara Goleta anchorage.JPG

Anchored in Cove near the UC Santa Barbara Campus at Goleta. Only moved about 15 miles today, marking time and working my way out to Pt Conception. Thursday looks right to run up the Coast to Morro Bay.

Some guys have a boat that attracts some attention. It seems MarAzul attracts the Coast Guard. They boarded the MarAzul soon after clearing the harbor at Santa Barbara today.
She got a passing grade on her safety inspection. The fourth time now, perhaps someone should sell them a computer with internet access so they can keep track of work already reported. Yea, I think I could set them up with a workable system. Damn! This is getting annoying! Nice Lads but....

MarAzul Morro Bay Yacht Club guest dock.JPG

MarAzul at the Morro Bay Yacht Club guest dock. Need to get a better handle on the weather! Had 25 knot wind on the nose yesterday coming up here from Pt. Conception. It made for a Nasty sea for about 2/3 of the trip. The Sea was all worked up like a washing machine! Not fun.

I always knew you were a little dingy.

San Simeon Cove.JPG

Tucked snugly into San Simeon Cove just south of Pt. Sur.
Beautiful cove here. The hook is down in sand, it feels pretty good for the night.
Surprised to have internet here.

Wish you could airlift that sucker into Lake Tahoe in September.

Geez, would that be a project!
The yacht I rode on last year was supposedly the 3m corporate yacht in the 50s or something like that. They brought it from Seattle to Tahoe in pieces I think the guide said. I'll Google it and link a story if I can find it.
