Marbury: “I Want to Play for the Brooklyn Nets”

It’s always hard to figure why Stephon Marbury says anything. But on Tuesday, the unemployed point guard used Twitter to let fans know where he wants to play: “Rod Thorn is my man. I want to play for the BROOKLYN NETS. I said it.” Okay, he said it. Problem is that even if everything goes well, the Nets won’t be in his hometown til February 2012…the same month the former Net turns 35.
