Most likely... I think Memphis fans are nervous because they just saw Monroe, Aldridge and Jordan leave their teams for nothing. No way he goes somewhere else. He is probably just taking his time to figure out if he wants a 5 year deal or a two year deal.
It was reported, but nothing has been finalized. Meaning, nothing has been officially agreed to.I thought they were working on a deal in the neighborhood of $100 milllion.
They shouldn't be nervous. Monroe was considered gone since before the season started and there was lots of talk about both LA/Jordan leaving before they left. There has been no talk about Gasol leaving. Most likely... I think Memphis fans are nervous because they just saw Monroe, Aldridge and Jordan leave their teams for nothing.
I seriously doubt that will happen. The only other team with enough money to sign him is the Blazers.

this just in...SAS would renege on LMA in a heartbeat. This Just in: Gasol spurns Memphis for Spurs

That would be classic! Could you imagine if they had a shot at Gasol and say "sorry LA, we actually found someone better". You know, it's business, you know?this just in...SAS would renege on LMA in a heartbeat.![]()
This Just in: Gasol spurns Memphis for Spurs

That's really good news. The memphis fans can breath a sigh of relief. They were blowing up my tweets with "WHY HASN'T GASOL SIGNED?!?!"@WojYahooNBA: Free agent Marc Gasol has agreed to a five-year, $100M-plus deal to return to the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
Damn. The ultimate godfather scenario is dead.
