He's is the first player with 20 or more rebounds in 24 minutes or less was Clyde Lee of the 1974-75 Atlanta Hawks. Camby played 23 minutes tonight.

He's the first ever Trail Blazer with 20 rebounds and no points and the first in the NBA since he himself did it on Dec. 5, 2007.

He's the second Blazer in team history with 20 rebounds in back to back home games. The other was Bill Walton 22 vs Lakers 1/23/76 21 vs Bullets 1/27/76 (36 years ago today!)

I have a ton of respect for the guy. I wish he was a little younger.

It's great, for sure, but seriously...get the guy enough rest so that he can do this in the playoffs. We're tough to beat when Camby is on his a-game

Retire his #!!!!

It is pretty amazing. It'll be interesting when we play the Timberwolves.

Those two games were the 42nd and 43rd regular season games in which Camby has grabbed 20 or more rebounds. He had 18 defensive rebounds in each game. It always helps pad the rebounding totals when your opponents shoot less than 38% from the field (MEM FG% = 0.378 and PHO FG% = 0.372). Still the guy is amazing.

I know he's old and rapidly approaching AARP eligibility, but the guy's rebounding is flat out amazing. He's steadily gotten better on the boards as he's gotten older. His first two seasons in the league, he was a weak rebounder and didn't have his first 20 rebound game until the second half of his 5th season in the league. His current TRB% of 22.8 (and rising rapidly) is the second highest TRB% of his 16 year NBA career. Only last season's TRB% of 24.1 is higher. This is also his 7th season in a row with a TRB% > 20. His career TRB% of 19.07 ranks him 7th on the NBA career TRB% leaders list; right behind Dikembe Mutombo at 19.10. At the rate Camby is rebounding, he'll pass Mutombo and move into 6th place by season's end.

I know he doesn't block as many shots as he used to, but Camby's career BLK% of 6.11 places him in 11th on the NBA all time list (ahead of both David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon) and he's 12th in NBA career blocks.

The dude has had a pretty amazing career and I'm glad the Portland fans appreciate what he brings to this team. He's proof there's a lot more to winning basketball games than just scoring.

The best part, on his way out on the loading dock, stops to sign all the autograph hounds stuff. And last night took 2 min to visit with his dawg HCPJr.

Impressive stats. I think Camby has entered a Rodman-like stage of his career where he's happy completely forsaking his offensive game, and taking defensive risks, in favor of rebounding. At least Camby has retained the great high post passing.
