I just listened to the Marine being interviewed in his hospital bed on TV. Apparently the guy was eating at McDonald's when they came and ask him if Black Lives Matter? I gather he didn't want to play their game, so they went to town on him.

Weird!. How this site claims there is no evidence that it was anything to do with Black Live Matter!.

I kind a think a it would be appropriate to go troll for these fuckers. Some lessons are due.

Who do you want to troll? The punk teens that beat the guy? Black Lives Matter? Snopes?

Yup, fucked up.

Washington DC is one of the most dangerous cities in the USA. I added a chart to illustrate how bad the crime rate is there compared to the USA average.

What is really fucked up is we do not adequately police our nation’s capitol city. Yet we send tens of thousands of our military to police other countries, that don’t want us there.

I hope you're not saying we should use the military to police Washington DC.

Not at all. Plus that would violate the constitution. (I think without looking)

BUT, some of the money we have spent to police other countries could be have been used here at home to make our streets safer. The two Iraq wars were not necessary, and have cost us dearly in money and lives. (Said with much respect for all of the military personnel who fought those wars.)

It would, you are correct. And I am sure Sly knows this also. He probably could intuit that I would like to see the people sticking that BLM issue in peoples face be trolled.
Whether they are punks, teens, BLM activist or any combination, they deserve to learn you do not intrude on the rights of people living their lives. We have run the police off the streets
rather than give them proper policies to maintain order in this society. It will take a concentrated effort to set this right again, with true leadership leading the way, which we currently do not have.

Overall crime rate down and dropping. Largest prison population in the world. We haven't run the police off from anywhere.

The politicians have turned our police forces into revenue generating depts.

The police will send two cars after you if you are not wearing a seat belt. Reason, the fine you will have to pay. They will make money for the government.

But if your car is broken into, they will mail you a form, and tell you to contact your insurance company. The police have no interest in stopping burglaries and pick pockets, doing that will cost the government money.

Crime does pay in the USA.

Yeah, great examples sly and completely missed the mark.
You can't find a City in America where they have a flatfoot with a night stick on his beat keeping the peace. They may come by the car load with all sorts weaponry and training to use it,
but the local cop with the local knowledge is gone. Look at that video, those guys are hanging out looking for trouble. There was a day when the beat cop with nothing but a night stick owned the street. He had back up on call minutes away and everyone knew it.

That's not citizens running cops off the streets, that's the police moving over to stats based policing. A cop in a car generates more revenue from tickets than a cop walking a beat.

Totally screwed up, hey? The citizens do need to regain control. Keep the peace and don't shoot the screw up either. It can be done.

policemen need to be first, peace officers invested in the communities they patrol, and secondly trusted by the locals...then a beat cop can do his job. Right now it's increasingly becoming a detached profession of paranoid counter punching..not enough community outreach..you used to know them on a first name basis and maybe they were on your local league basketball team. Cops and urban community organizers or street gangs are sort of like Congress....it's a standoff
