This was written by someone with a clear agenda. It's obvious.
 
This is such a difficult subject. As a man, I don't feel I have the right to tell a woman whatvto do with her body.

However, I believe it is murder.

Also, I think if a woman consents to sex with a man, and gets pregnant, the man should have equal say in what happens to the child.

Probably the issue I'm most torn over.
 
I am for abortion/death penalty equality. For every fetus that is aborted, a prisoner shall be executed. For every prisoner that is executed, a fetus shall be aborted.

Whichever group goes to zero first (prisoners or fetuses) wins!

There should be certain restrictions like you cannot have an abortion if the fetus can theoretically survive if birth was given the day of the operation. At that point it's just taking a life in my opinion and adoption would be a better route.
 
No one has an abortion the day of delivery. It may come as a shock to you but women are not stupid

Golly, dosen't everyone know? Babies are Delivered alive. Aborted fetuses requardless of term days are not alive. No one ever says delivered a dead fetus. Or a live one for that matter.
 
Well Trump froze all foreign aid from going towards contraception in the third world.....like that's going to help.....really poor people without condoms or checkups, penicillin, hospital care......what a fucked up thing to do. Doctors without borders just took a huge hit and they barely get by as it is.

Nothing against you or people like you, but I think this election has divided the country between those who possess empathy and those who don't. And that goes beyond just empathy: those who care more about themselves than anyone else. Keep being greedy and self consuming.

You are nearly correct. In the Kiersey temporment types, we, the general population are nearly equal in F Types and T types. The F means you base you decision making heavly on Feeling.
The T means you a Thinking type and base you decision making heavily on Logic. It is showing up more and more as the seperator in our political choices.

Abortion is a touchy subject here due to our religious and moral beliefs. Whatever our beliefs, the government has no business trying to push them on people in other countries. If the countries seek aid, give the countries money and stay out of anything else. Obviously I refer to not give money to other countries, period.

There's a big divide between people who want one party government plus authoritarian government and the rest of us.

In response to this I would like to thank the Tsi Chi Foundation for being a first responder after Hurricane Katrina hit our shores...they provided us with oil spill cleanup, tents, medical supplies and doctors...the foundation is represented by Jane Goodall and the Dalai Lama.......glad they don't think the way you do....and by the way...no matter what you think about abortion.....that's not what really got left out freezing out funds......bye bye AIDS education, STD monitoring, etc.....better hope no airborne virus gets to San Diego....virus has no passport
 
The "abortion is murder" crowd did not provide an answer as to the ramifications of their position on the Planned Parenthood thread. So I ask again.

If abortion is murder, how many years imprisonment does the woman get? 25? Life? Death penalty? Anyone who assists her is accessory to murder, how many years do they get? In Latin America there are women serving sentences as long as 40 years for having abortions.

How can you tell if it's a miscarriage or abortion? In the countries where abortion is illegal, the burden of proof is on the woman; if she can't prove a miscarriage happened naturally she is guilty.

In an actual murder, a big headache is disposing of the body. Human bodies are not easy to dispose of. A 2" 8-week fetus is. You can close all the clinics, confiscate all the drugs, you can't confiscate all the wire hangers, knitting needles, lye, nutmegs, everything women use to self-abort. So how will you be able to tell if a woman self-aborts at home? In Romania every woman had a mandatory monthly pelvic exam and if she showed signs of a terminated pregnancy was interrogated by state police. You want this here, small government conservatives? Is this your vision of the future of American women?

In Europe women in countries where abortion is illegal travel to countries where it is legal. There are border guards who try to trap them; women who make overnight stays in legal countries, carry sanitary pads, are stopped at the border to their home country and forced to undergo pelvic exams. How will you keep American women from traveling to Canada, where abortion is legal? Will Trump build a wall to keep Americans in, and make women pay for it? Or will border patrol make American women have forced pelvic exams? Is this your vision of the future of American women?

Will you make an exception if the pregnancy will kill the woman? How near death must she be? If she has cancer, has to stop chemo and radiation, survives the pregnancy but dies shortly thereafter of untreated cancer? Would you allow an abortion in those circumstances? In Central America abortion is illegal even if the pregnancy would kill the woman. Some women have ectopic pregnancies, which are 100% lethal for fetus and near 100% lethal for the woman, but the woman still can't get an abortion. Instead, she is hospitalized and kept without treatment in excruciating pain until the fallopian tube explodes. At that point, the fetus is dead and the woman can be treated for hemorrhage and infection. Many die or are permanently disabled; ironically, may become sterile. But the fetus died a natural death. Is this your vision of the future of American women? Not Orwell's boot stamping on a human face forever but a boot stamping on a uterus forever?

If children are in danger they can be taken from their parents for their safety. You can't take a fetus from the woman, would you put women in prison to keep them from having abortions? It has been done, although rarely, in the US. In Yugoslavia during the civil war thousands of women were held in rape camps, which were exactly what they sound like. They were raped dozens, in some cases hundreds, of times. Abortion was legal in Yugoslavia for the first 6 months of pregnancy so the rapists kept the women prisoner until the 7th month. There were thousands of abandoned infants. Is this your vision of the future of American women?

Before Roe v Wade, women who self-aborted and things went wrong (not unusual) could be turned away from hospital emergency rooms when they arrived with blood pouring down their legs. Others were admitted but placed under arrest. Is this your vision of the future of American women?

Easy for a bunch of dudes to wave their dicks around and pontificate about how "abortion is murder!! waaah!".
Not so easy to answer questions, is it? Still a lot easier than the forced pregnancy you want for every woman, so let's hear it. I want to hear your vision of the future of American women.
