In response to this I would like to thank the Tsi Chi Foundation for being a first responder after Hurricane Katrina hit our shores...they provided us with oil spill cleanup, tents, medical supplies and doctors...the foundation is represented by Jane Goodall and the Dalai Lama.......glad they don't think the way you do....and by the way...no matter what you think about abortion.....that's not what really got left out freezing out funds......bye bye AIDS education, STD monitoring, etc.....better hope no airborne virus gets to San Diego....virus has no passport

I don't oppose sending aid in an emergency like an earthquake or hurricane. I oppose writing checks to achieve some desired behavior we want (that's not necessarily in their best interests) or otherwise forcing our view of morality on their culture.

@crandc asks a hypothetical.

Before Roe v Wade, there were 500,000+ LEGAL abortions per year.

While I fully support a woman's right to choose, I see no justification for the government to put an abortion clinic in every woman's back yard.

my wife just looked, there's no abortion clinic in her backyard.....she thinks you fear women

LOL, I don't fear women. I believe in women - that they can do absolutely anything.

"We'll give you $x if you will do something we want (teach abstinence, set up abortion clinics) ."
you really should visit an orphanage or refugee camp.....your fear of abortion clinics is blinding you to actual world health organization burdens..

I am absolutely not asking hypotheticals. Everything I asked does happen, or has happened.

unless they are orphaned or in refugee camps....then we can do something but thanks Donald.....that's gone now..of all the places to cut costs...this is not one of them

It's fine with me if those nations want to support abortion or have the government pay for it. I don't support us telling them they need abortions or nations forcing abortions on anyone. In the latter case, it's not up to us to pay them to not force abortions, it's up to the people there.

Abortion is legal in all 50 states. Therefore your question about crime and penalty is hypothetical.

Hypotheticals are possibly situations, statements or questions about something imaginary rather than something real. Hypotheticals could deal with the concept of "what if?"'.

stop talking down to people with your stupid Webster quotes.....do you really think crandc does not know the meaning of hypothetical? what if you actually considered her opinion without the snark? How's that for a hypothetical? You just questioned the validity of a woman's opinion and linked a fucking dictionary definition to it........JESUS DUDE

When she says she's not asking a hypothetical and I say she is, the definition is called into question. WikiPedia describes it as I see it. If she wants to refute it, I'm open to her alternate facts.

I also answered the part of her question about abortion pre-Roe.

Abortion was legal in NY state and California, and some other states.

The cost of travel, stay, and the procedure at one of those places pales in comparison to the cost of anything else pro choice people are doing.
