George Conway Slams Trump In Op-Ed: Attorney General Appointment Is ‘Unconstitutional’
Kellyanne Conway’s husband insists that Trump isn’t upholding the Constitution in an op-ed published in The New York Times.
George Conway, the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, lambasted President Donald Trump’s appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general as “unconstitutional” in a fiery op-ed in The New York Times.
“President Trump’s installation of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general of the United States after forcing the resignation of Jeff Sessions is unconstitutional. It’s illegal. And it means that anything Mr. Whitaker does, or tries to do, in that position is invalid,” said Conway in a piece co-written by former acting U.S. Solicitor General Neal K. Katyal.
