nope....chronically bad back
Man... hard to believe he's been in the league for 10 years.
I can definitely believe it; seems so very long ago we drafted him.
The shock to me is he's only 28.
Yeah, that and his hip. But he is a good locker room guy and I am not convinced he is done. He can still shoot. Again I am talking a minimum vet salary.
Even if you're assessment of his health was correct, which I disagree with, he makes no sense for this Blazers team since we have a great locker room culture and are trying to build for the future years from now. We're not looking to add aging veterans for a couple of wins.
wow, he's only 28??
I have a soft spot in my heart for Martell.
He is out the whole season. What use is it to bring him in now? If you think he has recovered (I think it is chronic so I would say it won't be) then you just sign him in the off-season.Looks like he will clear waivers. Injuries are the issues. Would you pick him up on a minimum salary?
I would be tempted.

Yes I knew he was out for the year. Sorry I was not clear. I meant pick him up this summer.
So do I! I loves me some Marty!wow, he's only 28??

I know his wife is from Portland and spends the off season here. Always liked his game. Never can forget we drafted him instead Derron Williams and CP3 though!!!!
