<div class="quote_poster">Quoting olskoolFunktitude:</div><div class="quote_post">A rather ignorant post. You need to whatch more games and not just Nets games. I really dont have any particular hate for kenyon martin. I certainly dont have much respect for him as a person because of how classless he has proven to be time and time again and how bad he is for team chemistry. Youre being decieved by his dunks and body language. Kenyon is a very good defender no quesiton but he's not defensive player of the year caliber player in that he doesnt get in his opponents heads (in fact usually its the opposite when hes struggleing as proven by his embrassing display of lack of self control against the clippers) and he CERTAINLY does NOT single handedly change the complexion of whole games on either end of the court. All he can do is give whatever single player hes guarding a less than average night but he still cant shut down any of the best players at his position not for a whole game.

Anybody that reads this paragarph knows that you dont Know anything about basketball what so ever not even a little bit. You said that K-mart doesnt change the complexion of games in one sentence. Then the Next sentence you said all he does is keep a oposing players from having an average night. Who does K-mart guard? I'll answer that for you because your lack of basketball knowledge will not allow you to answer that question. K-mart guard the opposing teams best front court player. So if he keeps a team like the Pacers best front court player O'neal from getting his normal #ers its no way the pacers can beat the Nets( as proven by the 2002 playoffs) or like when he got into the head of walker & competely took him out of the playoffs. The Nets won that round because of that. Boston couldnt even put up a fight because K-mart lock down their second best player & their #1 option in the low post. So that pretty much change the complexion of that round. And lets not talk about his defensive on Corliss Williamson(detroits best scoring option off the bench at the time) & Prince( who was killing in the playoffs last until, he played K-mart & the Nets). If you dont think his defense on those 2 players for the Pistons wasn't a big reason for detroit only averaging around 70pts per game for the entire round than you know less about basketball than I think. And if you dont think that one of K-marts monster 4th quarter dunks doesnt lift the emotional play of his team. And also affects the opposing team in a negative way, Then you dont know what an impact play means.
PS- I read that gay **** you type, And its no stress to me because anybody with half a brain would know that chumps usually type alot of stuff over the computer, they would never think about saying to a persons face.
