Family, friends and colleagues of late actress Mary Mara mourned her in the wake of her drowning death at the age of 61 in upstate New York.

Mara, known for her roles on ER, Criminal Minds, Dexter and Ray Donovan, was hailed by her relatives as 'a gifted character actor' who excelled in 'complex portrayals of often-troubled characters' in an obituary shared with People.
