Marz you could pitch this as a TV series...a black and white western...call it "My Three Guns" starring the 3 legged cougar....you've got the children and damsel in distress...the cougar could be named "Lefty"...the hunters could be named, "Winchester, Remington and Uzi.....the sidekick would be little Colt. He's a real pistol!

The cougar should be named after the three legged dog, Lucky.

“Lost Dog: Three legs, blind in one eye, ear torn. Answers to the name 'Lucky.' ”

"Private party gun sales in Oregon now require a criminal background check. Also, any private party gun transfers in Oregon now require a criminal background check. Meaning, loaning your hunting rifle to your best friend requires the same background check as selling the rifle to a complete stranger."

Maybe six years ago now, we had a stalking cougar in our neighborhood. He was seen by several people when we decided to get the bugger before we had a real problem.
My neighbor shot the cat, a crippled male with the shot gun I loaned him for the task. I loaned out 3 weapons for that task, and glad I did. The cat was stalking the ladies on their daily walk through our wooded neighborhood. We do not have a police force, our homeowners association is the only organizations we have to take action.
@SlyPokerDog pointed out to me that I could not do this anymore under the new law. Pretty fucked up in my view, but Portlanders like it.
I'm in the position that if someone wants a weapon, let them get their own. Their background should be checked. Mine has been checked for much less than holding a weapon that can take human life.

My father has a concealed carry license, which I am 100% behind. However, when he lent my mother his jacket that had a handgun in it one time, I was seriously upset and let him know. My mother, who could shoot a beer can off fence post from a good distance, was carrying that weapon. That's against the law in my opinion.

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th... back up your lying claim. Let’s see any fascist city where someone shot 25 people every day. I’ll make it easy. Fine 1 week, any week in the last year where someone killed 25 people each day.

Not even close.

I seem to recall that there was more to the story.

Trump responded that it could have been worse. No condolences. No policy change.

So if a woman is raped by two men, tell her stop crying, it could have been worse, could have been ten rapists.

I'm in the position that if someone wants a weapon,

I and my neighbors wanted some armed help. My wife was one of the walkers. I felt it best to have an armed watch over the entire circuit of the walk.
Two days did the trick.

So walk with them with your weapon?

I don't think people should be allowed to loan out their guns. That is irresponsible gun ownership. Once you loan it to someone you lose control of how it may be used or what could happen to it or with it.

Dumb post.

Would you loan your car to your father or mother?

If so, are you out of your f'ing mind?! 65,000 deaths a year!

Only a madman who hates everyone would loan their car to someone else! You lose all control of it!

Deadly gun violence runs rampant in Chicago, media gives little attention

Chicago FOP President Kevin Graham weighs in on what police are doing to combat gun violence.

Chicago is experiencing a violent Labor Day weekend with at least 35 people shot and seven of them killed, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Monday.

Two deadly shootings unfolded Sunday within just over 20 minutes. A 15-year-old boy named Dovantae Jackson was shot on the same block where he lived and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Soon afterward, an unidentified man and woman were shot at a South Side party; the man later died at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

CHICAGO HAS MOST VIOLENT WEEKEND THIS YEAR: 52 SHOT, 10 DEAD

Also Sunday, a drive-by on the Southwest Side killing one man and seriously wounding another.

The previous day, two men were killed and three wounded after a shooter open fired at a group of people who were on the front porch of a home.
Doctors pronounced the two dead at two separate hospitals.

A double shooting at Humboldt Park claimed the life of 18-year-old Angel Perez and wounded another man Saturday morning. Willie Coker was shot and killed early Saturday morning while he was outside with a group of people.

Overall, the city experienced a more violent weekend compared to this time last year. In 2018, Chicago's Labor Day weekend saw four people killed and 23 people wounded.

These aren't mass shootings, they are all seperate incidents by different shooters.

I’m 95% certain this Maris is literally an actor. He’s not real, doesn’t feel what he writes. But he adds to the forum as an antagonist and makes it fun. He might be on Slys payroll

We can agree that SPD or DeadDennyCrane have profited mightily from my contributions to the forum and the enormous traffic I attract with my many insightful posts and fact-checked news items of the day. I would not refuse some recompense were it offered.

Exactly. Criminals are all over the place killing people in these prime examples of gun-control cities.

While you are manipulated into being terrified by a couple dozen ,mostly white, crazy guys who killed less than 1000 people over the last decade or so, literally thousands of mostly minorities have murdered 100 times that in the same time period. Crickets from the Fake News.

Deep State fixer Burger was an absolute moron in terms of knowledge of the law, knowledge of the Constitution, knowledge of common sense...and he proves it with this drivel.
There you have it, Maris is smarter than the past Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
I guess that means there truly is a deep state. So, our weekly meetings at The Hall are now public knowledge. Damn, foiled again.

So are we saying the most dangerous people in a mass shooting are the ones with phones. Its not the ones with the guns... Got it.

The lemmings are the Achilles heel in any society.

Had these people existed here in 1775 we'd all be British today.

Of course I am.

Everyone here, even CupWizer, is smarter than Warren Burger ever hoped to be.

Although none of us could ever be as corrupt.

How many were killed in Oklahoma City? How many murderous incidents were there? How many were killed by al-Qaeda and ISIS in the last decade or so.

One struggles to stand let alone walk without an Achilles.

The “lemmings” if you will are citizens doing what they can to get by, to support their friends there families. Its the common man and woman. Society crumbles without them.

The danger to society has rarely been the common citizen but the failed leadership, who are making poor decisions and failing the ones they walk on.

Pretending that the problem is the ones with a cell phone, and not the idiots shooting people is ridiculous. Our problem is literally that our leadership, both past and present has failed us, and wedged a hate sized knife in the achilles.

Insightful posts. Did I just read that? LOL

Not the same city every day, obviously, but you are being deliberately obtuse and proving unworthy of further responses to your trolling.

To be fair, some days are better than others but nearly all murders in America happen in about a dozen Democratically-controlled, gun-prohibitive cities where minorities are the majority.

One week. You said every day. Not even asking for a year or a month, just the one worst week. Prove your claim.

1 week is what I’m asking. He said Every day, that’s 365, I’m looking for one week. Of course there are terrible days.

Every day in one or another of those cities, not in the same city every day.

Gotta go to Mexico for those kind of numbers.
