Sad.

I'll never forget how he p**sed off Chocolate Thunder so bad.....dude ripped a toilet out of the MC locker-room bathroom stall.

R.I.P. Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke.

This is sad! Grew up idolizing him and then had the pleasure of working with him for a few years. What an unbelievably genuine, down to earth, nice guy! RIP brother!

May we never forget...

Great player!

Greater Man!

RIP Mr Lucas!

RIP MO!

He hated being called MO. I made the mistake once. I used to call Maurice Cheeks MO, and learned quickly that LUKE didn't like that!

Wasn't there a recent report that he was feeling better?! This is terrible news.

My condolences to the family.

next home game, everyone show their love for Mo.

Terrible news. I've met Luke a couple of times and he was a great guy. He was a close friend of one of my close friends.

Actually his cancer had returned and he was very sick. My understanding was that he was planning to go to Cleveland for some type of alternative treatment. Unfortunately he never got the chance.

33 years today,

Fucking cancer. Wow, is that a hybrid Sports Illustrated slash Halloween curse or what? This really sucks. 58 is way too young. When I followed the team all over the country 2.5 years ago, I remember Luke and Jack shooting threes together before every game. I know he had been looking forward to working with Oden when we drafted him. RIP Luke.

I've felt like crying all night. It sucks when one of your childhood heroes passes away.

Bummer. I hope the team dedicates the season to Luuuuuuukkkkeeeee.

Even though this is a sad day in Blazer land, his death brings any suffering he was going through to an end. Cancer is such a terrible disease and we really have not been able to figure out how to stop it. It is like a modern plague only slower and more devastating worldwide. I really think in the end it will be stem cells that push us over the top in the fight against cancer.

Man, I'd hoped he would beat this thing. He was not only a great basketball player, but a great person. My condolences to his family.

Wow this is a big shock. I hope the Blazer staff pull a tribute to him this coming Thursday against the Thunder. I hope this gets our guys pumped to win this for Lucas.

This is so sad. I once named a Boston Terrior "Luke" after him.
My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends.
RIP LUKE

Right now, I have no words. I only met him a few times, but I'm devastated.
