COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Did they say "Nickelback" or "nickel sack?"
One is a small bag of marijuana. The other is a Canadian rock band.
Two young men were detained June 20 by Kootenai County sheriff's deputies in what could be a misunderstanding over the two words. One of the men recorded the incident, which was uploaded to YouTube.
The Coeur d'Alene Press reported that the men asked why they were detained. A deputy tells them that when the passenger got out of the vehicle, he heard him say, "Yeah, a nickel sack for sure."
"No — Nickelback," the filmer responds.
"That guy over there was blasting Nickelback," the passenger says.
Discussion between the officers and the two men continues. After five minutes, the video ends.
No charges were filed.
And someday, somehow the men and the deputies hopefully will make sense of it all.

He is clearly intelligent. In my opinion he suffers from a condition I can't name but describe as being unable or maybe just slow to realize when he doesn't know something.

I don't think it's that clear if you actually look at the substance. To me he is about as intelligent as the average poster here. He doesn't come across as a scholar and what bugs me is he acts like is. But I could be wrong, I've never met the guy. (It's really hard to get a read on people from this board because you never know if what someone typed was rushed and not well expressed or if they spent a lot of time trying to express themselves . . . I know I'm often embarrassed about my posts because I try typing all my thoughts out quickly or while I'm multi-tasking vs times I have the time to actually type something coherent) Straying off I really enjoy BNM's posts because he always seems to take the time to write a clear, well-thought out and easy to read post (even when I don't agree).

Feel weird talking about him papag without him being able to respond so I'm out of this topic.
