They got just as many no-calls as we did. They just kept attacking the rim despite the no-calls and got some calls instead of settling for jumpers and shooting an absurd amount of three pointers.

Really? Seems to me they were shooting FTs in crunch time and OT while the Blazers were either getting fouled inside or hoisting up perimeter shots.

Yeah I saw you guys talking about that before. What Stu was saying(and he has said this MANY times) is that Rudy put himself in a more vulnerable position by taking off on one leg rather than two. He wasnt saying Rudy did anything wrong, just that there is a tendencey to get injured more frequent when dunking off one leg rather than two.

Im just gonna have to disagree on this cause I hate homer announcers and dont think Stu is at all when it comes to his opinions/what he sees on plays
"It was all about how he fell, because he got the basketball" Stu Lantz

The two foot takeoff argument he repeatedly made was more idiotic then homerism. A bigger player who crushes an airborne player from behind can send them horizontal no matter if they took off from 1 or 2 feet. Stu never once gave Ariza any blame at causing Rudy to crash despite the video replays clearly showing him bashing RF's head and then grabbing his wrist. At least Joel came around to acknowledge that Trevor hit RF's arm and said he went through Rudy to get the ball though no mention of Rudy's head violently snapping forward or the obvious reason why... they actually acted like the replays might overturn his ejection

I don't hate many things, and homer announcers aren't one of them. But I've watched plenty of Laker games in forming the opinion that those two are as biased as any. We can agree to disagree, but I think you're laughably wrong on this one.

100% disagree. I remember that play very well and the replay right after it. He was in position for the charge when AI was driving to the basket (after Outlaw was burned)but OBVIOUSLY slid to the right before the moment of truth. If LA stands firm AI only hits his left shoulder and probably gets the and 1.

When I first saw it I agreed with you but the replay shows what Im talking about
You are right that his feet were moving. Slightly to his right and backwards in very small steps.

However, you can take a charge while moving your feet, it happens all the time in the NBA.

I said it earlier in this thread, Derek Fisher takes most his charges while moving his feet.

Is this a block or a charge?

His feet are still moving, and he is sliding to his left. I think the charge call was correct.

Were you posting after this game about how the Hornets got jobbed because Derek Fisher's feet were not set and Chris Paul should have been sent to the free throw line to ice the game? If not, I don't see how you could feel that LMA didn't take a charge last night.
