If you were McGregor, would you go back to MMA/UFC? He just made the most money he'll ever probably make in a fight, why now settle for peanuts?
Dana didnt seem opposed to giving conor some ownership in ufc.

Conor loves the money but he seems to want a legacy and challenges.

Yeah, I wouldn't fight again in UFC if I was him. I'd probably start my own UFC type thing, he's got the juice to do it. Get the best fighters by giving them more of the pie.

Good fight. McGregor held his own for 8 rounds vs Mayweather no shame there. McGregor was strong early, but Floyd kept ducking and turning his back as well as grabbed onto McGregor so many times I lost count. I was suprised how many warnings McGregor for punches to the back of floyds head.

In the end McGregor who has never fought that long in a fighting match lasted till the 9th round against pretty boy floyd. Not bad. Not bad at all.

McGregor could be a champion boxer if he trained a bit more to get up his stamina now that he knows what boxing is about. It was fun yo watch. Thanks @Orion Bailey for having me over. Great party man. Good fucking burgers.

Good man? McGregor is a piece of s*** s*** talker. That's all he does is f****** talk. He's lost three times you know. He freaking tapped before.

So you want him to die? Because he talks? Ok.

Took the scumbag 10 rounds to beat a guy in his first fight hell yeah the best ever.

Mcgregor could probably box professionally at a high level. Get that stamina up and he's good.

Now imagine mayweather in the UFC. Lmao.

i really hope the
Paulie Malignaggi
shit talking from conor doesnt kick off 2moro

buuuuuuut

it now all seems to be about hype n public interest, so prolly will

Would have been interesting if they had a "halftime" and allow Conor to recover and be fresh the whole fight.
Through the MMA guy a bone for crossing over completly to boxing.

Those cards are silly. Judges giving Maywether round 2 when he was barely even fighting? McGregor never had a chance in hell to win a decision with all the money in Vegas. Not saying McGregor deserved to win overall, but who won more rounds than are on those cards.

I love how people are coming in here trying to save face acting like Conor did such a great job. Oh he had more punches landed than so-and-so and such-and-such. The MF was punched so many times that he didn't defend himself for a full 15 seconds and the Ref had to stop it. He got knocked out. That's the end-all-be-all. So coming in here acting like he did a great job is silly because again, the MF got knocked out...

Here's the thing: Mayweather brought any criticism on himself by agreeing to fight a non-boxer for a shitload of money.

Dude, it was his first boxing match against the best boxer in the world. Sports announcers like Max Kellerman were saying he would not land a single punch and how this fight was an absolute disgrace. Conor at least made it interesting for those of us that bought the fight. I was thoroughly entertained. I hated the Mayweather Pacman fight in contrast because it was boring af.

The rightful person won. It was Floyds territory. Conor at least hit him over 100 times. He didn't embarass himself completely.

Wow, you're the first person I've seen that has this view. Every commentator, even ones who said he had no shot and it would be a disgrace to boxing etc gave Conor credit for a good fight. Seriously, keep in mind he was crossing over to a new sport, taking on the boat at that.

He simply got exhausted and couldn't punch or defend himself anymore. He should have conserved his energy more. Floyd's strategy was to tire him out and it worked.

People keep talking about the total of McGregor's hits and act like that some sort of accomplishment. That was Floyd Mayweather's strategy. The first thing he did in the fight was back up to the ropes and give his version of the rope-a-dope. Which means Conor McGregor is going to get way more punches. I want to say Floyd maybe punched three times in that first round. That was by Design.

A KO is a KO.

True, a KO is a KO. Just that the best of all time shouldn't have taken 10 rounds to beat a guy who wasn't a polished or even semi pro boxer.

That's by design for most of Floyds fights yes.

Floyd isn't a complete moron though. Who actually wants to get a clean uppercut to the face.

Conor still hit him over 100 times when sports talking heads were saying he wouldn't touch him once.

That's an accomplishment.
