Clearly my carefree question has haunted you, it was aimed at no one in particular so as to poke fun at as many Father Time supporters as possible. I think this is significant because a) Kerry only won Michigan by 3% b) Obama took a big PR hit in Michigan when his campaign didn't want their votes to be counted in the primary. I thought the Michigan result would be a tossup until Nov. 4th.

Michigan is really hurting right now and the economy is being hung around McCain's neck because he lacks the ability to differentiate himself from the Bush Administration. It's a precursor to the General Election. Frankly, I'm now expecting a landslide unless McCain finally talks in a cogent manner about the economy. Obama has failed that test as well, but he's from a different party than President Bush so he gets the benefit of the doubt.
