McDonagh will play in the next seven days according to Alain Vigneault. (NYR)

Vigneault said that McDonagh was probably the best Ranger on the ice at practice today. (NYR)

McDonagh said that he felt “encouraged” and had good mobility and strength on the ice. (NYR) He added that his legs feel good but he needs to get his timing and puck handling back. (Ranger Rants)

Great news obviously. I would say max he misses 3 more games. I think he would be back Monday against TB if not a Flyer game this week.

That's great news. He's a big piece to the puzzle to get back out there.

Time for this team to go on run soon and start stringing together wins in bunches. I like how the team is setting up now for December and should get better as the season goes

Ryan McDonagh is skating with Dan Girardi at Rangers practice today. (NYR)

John Moore is the extra defenseman.

Lee Stempniak is skating with Kevin Hayes and Carl Hagelin.

Interesting. So I guess that means McD will be back tomorrow in Philly. And Moore out instead of Hunwick. Can't say I disagree.

Also Stemp on the 3rd line and I guess Duclair out. Looks like Glass stays in, which I guess is to be expected against Philly.

We need another top 9 forward...

Id sort of hate to give up on Moore already but if he can help bring back someone of note i'd be all for it. The question is can you rely on Hunwick or Allen for awhile. Moore, Miller, Fast isnt a bad package though it wouldnt clear much space.

He's backkkkkkkkk....

Ryan McDonagh returns to the Rangers lineup today for the first time since separating his shoulder on November 1. (Leonard)

John Moore will be scratched.

So he missed 27 days and 11 games. Right in line with the 4 week expectation. HUGE for us I think. Now we are whole. And Hunwick in over Moore...interesting and deserved I think.
