McDowell holds 1-shot lead at US Open

Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland is clinging to a one-shot lead over Frenchman Gregory Havret with three holes left, with each man seeking his first major and trying to become the first European to win the U.S. Open in 40 years.

McDowell was at 1-under par with three holes remaining Sunday at Pebble Beach, one shot ahead of Havret, who had the 17th and 18th still to play.
