I think a lot of 12 yr olds are mature enough to hear fuck. I went to a puff daddy concert when i was like 10 and had an eminem cd at 12.
yeah in 5th grade when my mom told me to turn off the blazers game and get some exercise i remember singing along to rage against the machine for her "fuck you I wont do what you tell me!"

I think he still is. Of the songs I've listened to his lyrics don't seem filled with swear words, it's his birthday and his first public concert, maybe having children in the audience just adds a level of concern that he didn't want to deal with.

And, how does the opening acts and if (Dame has any questionable lyrics) convey Dame as a person and will it interfere w/how they look at him on the court or as a role model.

Again, most adults can understand and figure this out. Youngsters I am not so sure about.

Yawn.

Not that I care, because I really don't. But I can wager a lot that the opening acts are probably going to be traditional hip hop, which often times comes across as the thug/persona/lifestyle; so you may not hear 'fuck', but you may get a lot of other stuff centering around drinking, smoking, chicks, money, playin', hustling, sex, guns, etc, etc.

Pretty much what you hear on Shade45 on XM, and the like.

Of course I could be wrong.
Which is fine for a lot of 12 year olds. Cant be any worse than the stuff eminem used to rap about on his first cd. Killing his wife, jumping from a tree tied to his dick, having stds, shooting his wife when he finds her fucking another dude etc.

At the puff daddy concert everyone was smoking marijuana too. Which was a bigger deal back then obviously haha.

I'm laughing at all the people who think Lillard is going to be there tonight.

Well he's been posting on facebook and twitter warning about it just about every day since the tickets were announced on those platforms. So in my mind it falls on the responsibility of the parents to pay attention at this point.

Probably better for the skateboard kids as an audience than the local Deadheads...sorry Bill Walton

How long before Dame owns a club in this town and a record label?

Wish I was still in PDX so i could hit this concert. Surprises me how good of a rapper he is.

Anyone from this place actually there?

Our old friend isn't happy about not being there.
