Often things like this Gel a team. An injury. A forced absence. Sometimes it causes everybody to elevate their game, because they know more is expected of them. I have no idea if Dean plans on calling every play from the sideline, or if he is going to give the reigns to the players, or even partially give the reigns to the players.

I just want him to get lost with the luggage on a road trip and end up in Kalamazoo Michigan for a few days so we get to see if other guys might actually be capable of stepping up in his absence.


I wouldn't wish an injury on him, that's despicable ... he'd lose all of his value as an expiring contract if that happened

Hopefully DD will be a little different than Nate with the rotations. I can't imagine his style will be different. I also hope DD takes the ref's to task a bit more than Nate did regarding Oden.

At the same time, I'd expect him to let the team play a bit more, and specifically let Miller orchestrate on the court, and not do a Nate impersonation on the sideline. I'll be looking forward to it.

I think perhaps the drugs are working too well. You brain has somehow turned "little even when stiff and pulling on it" into "little stiff ,but I'll pull through", and you don't even notice.
