Glen Davis lost a lot of weight recently. I like his work ethic but doesn't change that he's 6-7/6-8 so I'm a bit scared of that. I still go with McRoberts. Young is a very athletic player, but he wasn't better than Antoine Wright in college so I rather go with a need.

Glen Davis is apparentley 6'9, 289lbs now.

I personally think the Nets need some one bigger, like Tiago Splitter, but take what you can get I guess.

Tiago...I'm not sold on. Guy has been in and out of the last three or four drafts.... I know he needed top 5 money to get out of his contract...but what kept him out of that category? I'm sorry but I am not sold on him.

I've always liked Glen Davis. I think we should definitely take him in the second round. And like nextlevelgame said, I'm also not sold on Tiago yet.

Nets like look of Big Baby

Forwards Josh McRoberts and Glen (Big Baby) Davis were in East Rutherford, auditioning for both the Nets and the Knicks, who are holding joint workouts for the first time. The Nets have the 17th pick in the June 28 draft and are expected to select a player who can be a presence in the frontcourt, an area in which they struggled this season.

Although McRoberts, the sophomore from Duke, has been pegged as the Nets' selection in numerous online mock drafts, LSU's Davis - expected by many to be a second-rounder - improved his stock.

The junior power forward who once tipped the scales at more than 350 pounds was in "great shape, excellent shape," according to Nets GM Ed Stefanski. Davis now weighs about 290 pounds and is noted to have good footwork and quickness for a player of his girth. That could help him compensate for the fact that he's 6-8, smallish for someone at his position.

"People are going to question Davis' height, but I think his size and athleticism, especially his footwork, will make up for that lack of size," said Stefanski. "(Davis) obviously realizes that this is an opportunity of a lifetime and he's come ready."</div>
