Thought I start a thread intended solely for the series.

Win game 1, win the series. I pick the Rangers in 6. I think game one is huge.

Saw the news that Brassard left today's practice with injury.

I will be at game 1, so hopefully we get the win. I haven't been at a Rangers win the past couple of times I have gone, so hopefully that streak ends....

I agree with you on the importance of game 1. It is always good to get off to a fast start, especially when you have home ice. I see this as a 1-1 then 2-2, and decided in games 5, 6, and 7 type of series.

I will stay with the Rangers in 7 in a total coin flip series.


AV said he expects Brassard to play in game 1, so hopefully no issues. We'll see if he practices tomorrow.

Would you play Fast or Carcillo in game 1? I would go with Fast. If they lose game 1, I put Carcillo back in.

Fast for sure. This is a top 9 role, not a 4th line role. No doubt Fast over Carcillo.

Moore over Diaz on D to play with Klein.

I could go either way on Moore and Diaz both have played well enough to warrant a spot, nice luxury to have.

I know Al. I am concerned. They have lost the last 4 or 5 times I have been there. Either the streak is due to get broken OR I do not go to another playoff game this season for sure.

Let's hope they win to set the tone, and so I can go to another game if they make a run.

Funny. 1 in a row...I am hot. Plan is to hit one game a round. So let's hope I will be at MSG again this season in round 2.

Interesting game tomorrow. New AV Rangers take a strangle hold. OR same old Rangers blow game 2 at home again...see you in game 7.
