I get that men and women have to deal with different things. I prefaced my post with that as well. I understand that I don't have to deal with 90 percent of what women do. But, sexual assault can effect anybody, and no one's personal experience should be devalued based on their gender.

I was told that my rape didn't matter and that should take my post down because it was distracting from the narrative. I didn't post my experience lightly or as a joke. I saw brave people sharing their stories and found the courage finally share my experience and now I just kind of feel like shit. Thanks internet!

Its the same attitudes found in this thread. That victimhood can only fit a certain narrative, otherwise its ignored, ridiculed or imagined.

I shared my story because it is true. I have never processed it as sexual assault, even though it was unwanted, I felt uncomfortable and got the heck out of there as fast as I could. Whenever I tell the story, friends just call me a dumbass and laugh for getting myself into that situation. It does help that I never felt in danger because I felt I had the freedom to get out of the situation and they was smaller than me.

I was trolling a forum and making some friends in an off topic section. Added a few guys on aim i thought were funny. 1 guy i was chatting with told me a story about being drunk in a tent and his buddy reaching around and jacking him off. He asked me if i thought that meant he was gay. Once i learned there was no eye contact but neither prefaced the climax with (no homo) i assured him he was probably gay if not bi but that he shouldnt be ashamed of what he is. Then he sent me a dick pic. Ive never felt so assaulted in my life, plus he had me by a good inch and a quarter.

I am a statistic

Honestly, I would - but if you considered it just fun, truly, then I can't tell you what to feel.

What I feel is very uncomfortable that all these dudes are taking over "Me Too" and as usual making it a joke.

It's not.

And I sure as FUCK won't share with THIS group.

"All these dudes"?

That's fucking terrible and shows how bad Facebook is. I'm one of the most insensitive people you'll come across and I think that is bullshit. What's that say about them?

Like I said earlier, don't share your experiences because you're not part of the movement.

With each of the following criteria, you are further away from the movement and your experience shall be discounted:

1. Male
2. Heterosexual
3. White
4. Wealthy or in a position of power
5. Physical stature - the bigger you are the more you are discounted
6. The list goes on...

When I was in 7th grade a random girl kept trying to get me to go into the bathroom with her so she could give me a hand job.

Aren't 2 and 3 the same thing?
