Roy (he's been working out with Rasheed's old public speaking coach):

Roy on Ruy Fernandez: ". . . He's a tough player . . . ."

Roy on Jerryd Bayless: " He's a tough player. . . ."

Oden on who he thought was the most improved player coming into camp: "LaMarcus Aldridge. Definitely. He came in in shape already. I'm like, it's still summer. You're not supposed to be in shape yet."

Next up, LaMarcus Aldridge.
"I want to be in the paint. I don't want to float around the perimeter."

"Greg and Brandon are the anchors of this team."

Here's my favorite:

Rudy Fernandez:

On who he's looking forward to playing against the most: "Pau. I've never played against him, only on the same team. I want to put points on your face."

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!

I do believe we have some competitors on this team.

Thanks, those are really cool. It's really awesome, they're all complimenting each other..I see the chemistry already growing

I have a great opinion about this topic, I'm just worried that I will be critiqued all day about it. So I'll just PM everybody.

If LMA is serious about hanging in the paint, then he and Oden will be a force for years to come.

My favorite part of the blog entry was by the always warm and welcoming Jarryd Bayless

Jerryd Bayless:

Doesn't expect to start. Doesn't really care. The team has one goal.

Maybe we can call Bayless "The Terminator" based on his emotionless one-line responses.

Next time you post, please step outside of yourself, outside of your mind, and analyze the Blazers for not only what they are, but what they could be, good and bad, not just today, but beyond the upcoming season, then enlighten us of your purified knowledge of our Portland Trail Blazers.

I like it. The kid has the potential to be that, on offense and on defense.

This from one of the blogs (Rip City Project):

-- Jerryd Bayless is everything I had hoped for, and more. See below for an imagined monologue interspersed with a few of his answers. JB's confidence cannot be understated, that would be impossible. He is smooth, polished, like a petosky stone. JB talks the talk, yet he does so with the confidence and absolute certainty that he will walk the walk. He talked easily about his time on the US Select Team. He referred to Chris Paul as "Chris", again with ease. In a moment of sheer honesty, he made it known he wanted to make the 2012 Olympics team, and he said it in a way that made his prospects seem better-than-likely. He also name-checked El Gaucho as his favorite restaurant and said he's taken up residence in Lake Oswego. Jerryd is one of the largest personalities on the team, already.

-- Rudy was absolutely mobbed, once again. He really attracts a crowd, it's something else. Chalk it up to sex appeal? Hard to say.
