Event Meet MARK MASON 1/6 - Blazer Booster Club Invite

Meet MARK MASON (Blazer in-arena announcer) on Monday January 6 at 7 PM. This is the next monthly meeting of the Blazer Booster Club (in existence since 1976-77). Mark will speak, take questions, (probably) take pictures with you and (probably) sign autographs (one per person).

So at the games, Mark introduces the 3 officials as crew chief, umpire, and referee. What exactly is the "umpire"? Come to the meeting and hopefully Mark can explain.
