Well, lot of posters, myself included, have been saying Martell should have been starting all along, all along. Or if coach must stick to the 3 pg unit, Rudy. A lot of us commented long ago Martell plays better as a starter. Roy must play his proper position, SG to maximize his effectiveness. Martell is our best (only) SF at the moment. Play him. Establish the post. These things are elementary. I didn't get to see the game. Sorry I missed this show!!I'm just joking. I just crack up that people on here will now say he should have been starting all along! Say he should be an all-star. People on here can be as crazy positive as they can be crazy negative. Anyway, good game Marty!

Goes to show if he gets time on the floor he can produce. It's hard for any player in the NBA to produce when your minutes aren't consistent. No doubt he has struggled as of late but when he gets playing time we are a better team.
Which means Miller must be traded. He just doesn't fit here.
Or we could deal Blake. If the coach and GM were fully confident in Blake's abilities, they'd have never picked up Miller.
They only picked up Miller because they felt they had to do something with that money. They never intended to start Miller over Blake. In fact, Nate told Andre as much which is fine BUT now that Outlaw is gone, we need another scorer on our bench and Miller is probably our best piece to net one with.
Right now the only train Martell deserves, looks like this:

Don't get me wrong, it was nice to see that he has a pulse and the rumors of his death were slightly exaggerated, but let's see him average 45% from the floor, 38% from three and no more than one boneheaded play per game for 5 or 6 in a row before we upgrade him to a full choo-choo.
With tonight as a starter he's at 10.8pts on 44.9%/45.5%/64.7%, 4.7rebs, 1.2ast, 0.8blks, 1.3stls, 0.8tovs in 27mpg. Extremely small sample size being what it is, those are solid roleplayer numbers.

That's a nice looking train, somebody did a good job. Although you have to wonder what was in those barrels originally, and how well they cleaned them out.

Webster is just bizarre. He'll miss 6 shots in a row, then hit three in a row. Then the next shot he takes won't even hit the rim or backboard. Tonight, when he was hitting every 3-pointer he took, he calmly stepped up to the line and missed two free throws in a row.
Tomorrow he'll probably throw a ball at the side of his house and miss everything.
