Merged: Blazers vs. Timberwolves Game Thread 11/15

For some reason, I'm not worried at all.

Well I think that's the same attitude the players have, and that's why they're down 8, soon to be 9.

You don't get off nights in the NBA, you'll get beat. You have to respect your opponent.

Wow, our first free throws of the game coming up.

What a pathetic performance in this second quarter. They better get it figured out quick or they're going to get blown out by the friggin' Wolves.

Anthony Morrow had 37 pts and 11 rebs for GS today. Anyone ever heard of him? Crazy. He wasn't even drafted.

15 of 20 FGs for Morrow. He had never scored that many points in a game on any level before today.

Who the fuck cares. We're getting buttraped by the Timberwolves.

down by 10 at half...still not worried but we looked bad

does anyone else get frustrated with the minutes batum gets? he only gets like 15 min a game

Flat, flat, flat. I don't see any harm giving Bayless some PT. We need some energy, and we need to stop relying on the jump shot so much. Bayless will attack and likely will get us to the line (alot) more than we have been.

I wouldn't have any heartburn seeing more Ike, either. The team is tired, go to the guys that are more fresh and hungry.

Oden looks bored. I don't like that about him. But that little left handed hook was nice looking, even though he missed. He should develop a nice offensive game eventually. I can't see any reason why he won't.

Lets see if we can get the ball into the most crowded part of the court with about 4 seconds left on the clock.

McMillan sets never cease to amaze me.

Is it just me or does it look like the team just goes all disjointed when Greg comes in? It's like he's suddenly the elephant in the room and everybody feels like they should feed it to him. If he could just be Joel with more hops the team would flourish. Hell, Joel had the best offensive move by a Blazers' center with the fake and dunk earlier. Greg coming back seems to have messed up the second unit in general.

That and we can't hit a shot while everything the Wolves throw up is going in.

I'm going to quote myself cuz I think it's funny.

But really - it's not like the end of the Blazers bench consists of scrubs. We have talent down there, these are the times to use that talent. Fresh talent. Hungry talent.

The PG usually is a calming influence..

..Steve Blake does the opposite

Okay, enough of that stupid NBA Theme "Where shit happens".

To paraphrase Rachel Phelps in Major League , I hate this fuckin' song..
