Yes, very good news. I would like to actually see him compete against at least one elite team this season if he gets in against Cleveland. And if they have thoughts of not playing him in back to backs, then sit him against Indy and let him play against the Cavs. Of course KP will not do that, he seems to be protecting him from media scrutiny and playing Greg too early on national tv when not 100% could not only make Greg look bad, but also KP himself and the med staff.

It sure would be nice to have his six fouls against Hibbert, Foster, Ford, Jack, and Granger.

I kid, I kid :wink:

He probably won't be able to do a whole lot and I'm sure his conditioning is going to be an issue, but he'll be able to give Joel a nice rest for maybe fifteen minutes or so, and he'll be an improvement over Channing's post defense.

I sure hope this means no more Frye in the 2nd unit. They finally got Sergio out of there, now only one more to go.

I see where Murphy is listed as "doubtfull". That is big as well. I hate those "bigs" that can shoot from the outside. This is a huge game for us as one would think Thursday's game is a long shot.

This is a homecoming for Greg also, so I am sure he wants to play tomorrow. Very good news.

I don't think he'll play. I don't think they want to bring him back on the first game of a back to back, but I could be wrong. This is the team that brought Blake back too early against a meaningless team.

Good find. Murphy has been earning his money in Indy. Well, I guess I shouldn't go that far. He has been giving about $8 mil production. But he works well with that team as a big with range that can open up the middle for their three guard lineup to dribble penetrate the lane.

Thanks for the great news, HCP. You know he's DYING to play in Indy. They've been waiting for two years to welcome him home. I'd love to see him put in around five minutes just to get his feet wet.

I doubt G.O. plays tomorrow, but the fact that he's getting better and is on the verge of returning. Very good news!

I'm tired of continuing to think this guy is some spectacle or Christmas present that we never get to unwrap. It's time to see him in action.

Really hope Murphy is out, if he doesn't play that gives me SOME hope against Indy

Greg Oden has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game at Indiana. Oden will be a game-time decision.

Considering he's in his home state, with countless friends and family attending, I'm sure Oden would love to make his return tomorrow.

Oden IS playing tonight as per the Blazers. 10-15 minutes off of the bench. Yeah!
