Re: Michael Jackson has Heart Attack, In "really bad shape"

What?

Wierd that all you can refer to about Kobe is his rape allegations, but when it comes to Jackson, apparently you got to appreciate his talents or your not human.

Was it weird when you went to Multnomah County and legally changed your name to Vanessa Bryant?

The guy could dance...

Re: Michael Jackson has Heart Attack, In "really bad shape"

People have been saying he's been molesting children for how many years now? How many times has he been charged? And how many times has he been convicted? Put it together, it was a money play the whole time. I can't call the guy a child molestor if he's never been convicted of it. I don't think he was either. RIP Mike.

You should go do some research before making those statements. It seemed fairly obvious to me that he bought his way out of jail. There are some really disturbing documented witness accounts that are thoroughly disgusting.

This is my favourite Michael Jackson performance...his performance at the Motown 25 event, in 1983. This is where he first did the "Moonwalk."

Love this video.

its weird that even though he was proven not guilty in both lawsuits but still horrible ****s as yourselves refer to him as a child molester. So much hate isn't healthy, i mean even over the internet i can tell your desperate. The man just died, have some fucking respect. if you dont like him, then why open up the thread? seems like a really idiotic thing to do.

R.I.P.

Rumor has it Michael Jackson died of an allergic reaction from eating 10 year old Nuts.

sad.
I don't know if it was related to his death or not, but details have been released from his autopsy. They checked the contents of his stomach, and determined that his last meal was Chinese food. Turns out, he had eaten Cream of Sum Yung Goy.

Jackson was a lot like Kobe. One of the most amazing performers in the world, but not exactly the kind of guy you'd like your 14 year old daughter palling around with.

Was he a creepy child molester, or just an emotionally stagnated nutjob? Was Kobe a rapist, or just incredibly tacky?

If you listen to the parents, Jackson was evil incarnate. But then why the hell would any sane parent leave their kid with a 45 year old man?

If you listen to the Colorado girl, Kobe is a vicious bastard. But then why did she have some other guys' sperm in her during the test? Why was she doing guys after being raped?

*shrug*

I don't really devote many brain cells to either issue. There's just no way to know. I'll remember Michael Jackson for his body of work (and unfortunate choice in surgeries.) I'll remember Kobe as that amazingly talented prick who kept my team from winning a championship.

lol...oh he died, my bad, i didnt realize that made him sleeping with and molesting little boys and giving them "jesus juice" (aka: wine) not happen. I also didnt realize money makes you innocent in reality...i just thought the money made you innocent in a court of law.

...And just because i dont like the freak doesnt mean i dont realize hes a big deal...So I started this thread:ohno:

btw, im desperate for what?

Am I the only one on the earth who thinks that his music is nothing but utter shit?

If it wasn't for Thriller I wouldn't give a shit about him.

Thriller is a top 10 album, and he was the man back in the day.

I wasn't a huge fan of "Thriller" (and am one of the few people who never bought it) but that "Off the Wall" album is great and I have it on my iPod.

It isn't even arguable with Mike, you can just look at Jackson and tell he is mental. The things he did to his body and the way he would conduct himself in public; he's in his own category. And all this over a period of years, not just one incident or accusation.

That's where I keep that embarrassing video I've been blackmailing you with.

That reminds me, your next payment is due. :devilwink:

Embarrassing? Are you kidding me?

I would do the same thing with you on that video live in front of every poster that posts here during the draft. Heck round two (where you get all twisted up and I come in from behind) I would put on cam show on the internet while twittering about it in between positions.

Don't worry, you"ll get your monthly payment. That experiece was worth every penny. Will you burn me a copy of the video or should we just "i-pod" together?

:devilwink: :devilwink: :devilwink:

Jason Ellis nailed it on his radio show today; Michael Jackson died a looooong time ago. The guy who died yesterday was just a child fucking junkie.

I heard about his death while camping this week and me and all my friends couldn't believe it. Hes never been a guy I cared much about at all or paid attention to. Despite the fact that I was born in 1990 and when I started listening to music he was pretty much long gone from the music scene I still recognized that this guy was pretty much the undisputed most famous/popular/etc person in maybe the history of all entertainment. He was literally the undisputed king of pop for all time and I bet that even my perception of him isn't really fathoming just how big he was in his prime years. It does literally feel like a king has died and, like I said I was never really attached to him at all.

Musically, you can't ignore just how huge he was. Jason Ellis also made a good point that while he is definitely the King of Pop, why is that a big deal? What has pop music provided us? Its a disposable, cheap form of music with no depth, meaning, etc. Its spawned Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, etc. is the world really a better place because of this? Did MJ really have any positive impact on the world? The Beatles were pop too but they had way more skill and meaning behind their music. Still, dude made Thriller, he was larger than life. As a person though, I dunno if the world is missing anything. I do feel bad for his kids though.

Absolutely agreed.

What a shame his death is. Such a dichotomy his life was...a star of the type that may never come along again (I can't think of any entertainer since that has completely dominated the mainstream pop scene like MJ did in the '80s) and yet a (seemingly) very sad, alienated life.

In the end, I think I probably feel sorry for him despite all the fame and money.
I was once on a flight from Stockholm to Milan with about 15 other people, one of them being model Linda Evangelista. She had a little middle-aged man servant toting her carry-ons who she didn't speak to and didn't seem to expect to be spoken to, no makeup, bluejeans and a plain white blouse. I'd seen her picture before and recognized her immediately but really had no idea. She was so tall, skinny, and striking, a cartooned woman couldn't have stood out more. During the flight if she did anything at all (like ordered a drink or reached forward for a magazine) every conversation on the flight stammered. The old Italian man seated across from me who I'd befriended just laughed and shook his head each time.

After landing our plane's pod of people merged with other arriving masses on the trams headed into the airports main hub. I'll never forget how she was surrounded by guys 6" shorter then her standing a foot away or so looking her up and down with no shame. No one tried to start a conversation, she was the Mona Lisa to be admired like it or not. Her empty stare went over their heads as if this was the everyday norm.

I've ran into a few celebs types over the years and I'm always struck by how weird and ultimately lonely it must be to be them. What a weird existence for billions of people to know who you are... everyone lighting up and staring at you where ever you go. From early on, this was MJ's life.

though I've never owned an album of his, his music is entwined with some great memories. An epic food fight with Off the Wall blaring on a school bus after picking strawberrrys for $ all day one summer back in grade school reins supreme in terms of sheer joy. There was a particular night with a girl at a club for another. I always felt like something was off with him, but dude could really sing and thats a weakspot for me. As his popularity faded in the face of sordid allegations and his music (& King of Pop crap) wasn't being forced on us daily, I found myself enjoying his stuff a lot more... dude had a gift. He gave us music, the creeps, and memories... he also raised millions for charities.

RIP

STOMP

Such a great artist.

I wish he didn't have to face the devils he did in his life.

This is so sad. I was listening to a Michael JAckson song on YouTube when I looked at the comments 2 days ago and saw a RIP, so me and my bro turned it to CNN and wow... so sad. RIP my man. Definitely the King of Pop. You will be missed and remembered for your great music.
