even with tonight, he is only averaging 7.6/5 in the last 5 games. the problem is 18 mpg and 4 fouls.

as soon as he stops the silly fouls, the sky is indeed the limit.

If you think it's his fault that he got 21 minutes against Dallas in spite of only having two fouls, just say it.

If you think that it's his fault that he hasn't fouled out of ONE game in this stretch, but has been limited to ridiculously low minutes presumably primarily because of foul trouble, just say it.

Say it or stop criticizing posters for explaining it somehow.

If you say it, you will be disagreed with by many posters here, but at least your posts will have some substance rather than full of passive aggressive nonsense.

David Lee was 1 point shy of a triple double. 10 points + 10 points + 10 points.

He had a pretty good game but Oden made a bigger impact IMO. Oden scored fewer points but took fewer shots and had fewer rebounds. He also had more rebounds and got six more blocked shots than Lee.

I brought up Lee for a couple of reasons. First, he had a great game against Oden. Second, when posters here have talked about trading for him, they don't give him the respect I think he deserves.

This was a game the Blazers should have won easily, but barely won on a last second shot. Led by Lee of all people, the Knicks played one of the best teams in the west about as even as a game can be.

come on ed o, don't take papag's passive agressiveness away from him, he won't have much to lean back on without it. good game by greg tonight, he got the ball in the post and was a menance on defense, pretty much all you can ask out of him at this point.

i really like lee but that had to be the quietest 29 points i've seen in a long time. i looked up in the 4th and he had 25, i figured he was around 15. i still think a three man rotation of lee, aldridge and oden would be pretty sick at the 4/5.

Yep, I've posted a few times it was a very good game by Oden tonight, and the rebounding part was key. I posted earlier that I put him up there with Outlaw and then Roy (on the final shot) in terms of impact. I don't know what problem is here other than people following a mod's lead and stalking a fellow Blazer fan who has an opinion that places some of the blame on Oden.

Yeah... I hear what you're saying.

I think while Lee was steady, he wasn't the leader/difference-maker. He was steady the whole way, including when the Knicks were down by 17 and when the Blazers went on their run to make up the 13 point difference. Of course, without Lee the game would have been ugly, but I feel it was Thomas starting 5-6 from three point range and Nate Robinson having that little hot streak that was what made the "difference" in this game from an easy Blazers win to a nail-biter.

I think Oden gets benched because he doesn't seem to try on some nights and looks lost without displaying any effort. PERIOD

Now let the rest of your groupies pile on me for having an opinion. How many times do I have to post that Greg doesn't seem to be involved mentally in some games? Why don't you single out posters who want Nate fired, Ed?

I recorded the game and just watched it. FUCK YEAH!!!!!!! Great game, Greg! Great fucking game! That's what I'm talkin about! And OMG, Brandon Roy! One of the coolest plays to finish a game EVER. And props to Outlaw who was fucking CLUTCH in the 4th. Great fucking game. I have to go right now, but I will look forward to reading all of your posts when I get back.
