Oh, and one of the Lakers' "road wins" was at Staples.

Yeah I've always felt that they have an advantage in that regard, when they play the Clippers on the "road" it's basically a home game.

Re: OT: Lakers' downfall.

Woohoo - Bulls taking down Utah.

Re: OT: Lakers vs Heat

Now we need Denver and Utah to lose tonight.

Bulls leading the Jazz by 6 late in the 4th. And Suns up 5 in the 3rd. So far so good.

Re: OT: Lakers' downfall.

Jazz lose. Alright! Now Nuggets need to lose.

Re: OT: Lakers' downfall.

The Lakers have had three back to backs actually...10/28-10/29, 11/11-11/12 and 11/20-11/21...and then tonight will be their 4th.

And the only reason they have the 2nd best record is because they've played fewer games, therefore fewer chances to chalk up wins. Though you could argue as well, that it's few chances to put a loss in the column too.

Boo-fucking-hoo. The Blazers have already played 6 and have their 7th coming up this Monday-Tuesday. Them's the breaks.

But when the play the Clippers at "home" it's basically a home game for the Clippers, too. The unfortunate thing is that the Clippers almost always suck.

Re: OT: Lakers' downfall.

The Lakers fouled when they were up by three with fewer than 10 seconds to go. Nate hit both free throws, AND Fisher only hit one of two at the other end... but the Lakers won.

Too bad Nate didn't do that. I guarantee we beat the Clippers.

Ed O.

They did that because the Knicks had no timeouts left. It was a great decision. If Fisher missed all his free throws, they still would have won.

Except in double-overtime against the Blazos

Blasphemy!!!

Wait, they have a cool name and cute girls running the drive through. Oh, don't forget average hamburgers and gross french fries. Not to mention a basic menu unless you count all of the stuff that is not on the menu but you can get if you know the lingo.

So what you have is a more boring and less tasty Burgerville. Sounds like a winner:snort:

Not the most dominant performance but the Lakers win 105-96 against Memphis.

A win's a win. A week or a month or a year from now it won't matter if it was 9 points or 39...

:check:

I would've taken a 9 point win over the Clips.

The Lakers seem to have regained some of their momentum and the Celtics game will be pretty big.

Hell yeah...Lakers actually looked like they knew what they were doing for most of the game...we have a chance!!!

You are spending too much time on the Blazers board DR, you are just as bipolar as we are...

It's an anomaly, one time thing... trust me they're in a free fall.

It's just hard to see the Lakers melting because it's very slow, the temperature is barely above freezing but that's okay... if they melted too fast we'd have flooding.

I think I might be overdosing on the 2 week long 24 hour coverage of the "Arctic Blast".

Only 4 of their first 15 games were away from the Staple Center. FINALLY, the Lakers go on a road trip and drop the first one. I love it. They no longer have the best record in the league and they are only 2.5 games ahead of a Portland team that has played TWELVE games away from the Rose Garden. Look for the Lakers to continue to fall down the standings as the Blazers go up.

So much for that road schedule being the Lakers "downfall"

22-6 on the road, best in the league :pimp:
