Ric Bucher's Twitter:

Toronto's shot at getting Hedo: apparently his wife loves the city. Any (happily) married man can tell you how much weight that carries.

That is a day or two old. I think it was a story about the offer Orlando made to Turk before he filed for free agency.

I see, thanks!

Quick, get a divorce!

A new twist: After losing out on Artest and Ariza, the Cleveland Cavaliers are discussing a possible sign-and-trade deal for Toronto Raptors swingman Anthony Parker, two league sources told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday night.

If the Raps sign and trade Anthony, I think that takes Hedo out of the picture for Toronto.

I'm confused, how does it take them out? That kind of helps them clear room, unless I am missing something?

A sign and trade means the Raptors also have to take back salary. It would be similar to signing Parker outright.

Re: Quick reports talks with Hedo's agent / Hedo Turkoglu discussion (MERGED)

True, but does it mean they have to take back more?

My great NBA knowledge is shining like a star.

Edit: Nevermind. I get it.

Well if they sign Anthony, then they aren't renouncing him to gain cap space. If they trade his newly signed contract, I think they have to take salary back in exchange.

If they want the cap space, wouldn't they jsut renounce him. But maybe there is a funny way to play with a sign and trade that gives more cap space . . . I could easily be the one missing something here.

Sounds like Cleveland with all this SF recruiting is moving LeBron to PF with Shaq in there. Good move.

Quick, get a divorce!

Who is Quick married to?

If I had to guess I would say to Mrs. Quick?

Jason Quick is married to the Truth.

Jason Quick is married to the Truth.

Does the Truth have a bald face?

Re: Quick reports talks with Hedo's agent / Hedo Turkoglu discussion (MERGED)

The Truth is ugly.

I really don't want to handle the truth.

I really don't want to handle the truth.

Well, the Truth is tricky...

Re: Quick reports talks with Hedo's agent / Hedo Turkoglu discussion (MERGED)

Didn't know Paul Pierce rolled that way.

He's a Celtic. They all roll that way.

Hmm, I thought that was more of a Saxon thing.

Re: Quick reports talks with Hedo's agent / Hedo Turkoglu discussion

I think this is really important. All championship contenders last year (Except maybe Cleveland - But they had Lebron) had at least two playmakers.

Kobe/Odom

Rondo/Pierce

Billups/Melo

Parker/Manu (Injured, so they lost in the first round)

Nelson/Turkoglu - Now Nelson/VC

Any coincidence that all of them are PGs, aside from MVP K*be?
