I thought LaLa Land was WAY overrated.

I didn't care for it, but its going to win some awards.

Manchester by the Sea was sad as shit...didnt care for the ending

Nocturnal Animals should have gotten more nominations. Shannon deserves best supporting actor for it.

Hacksaw Ridge was one of the best war movies I've seen in some time...Andrew Garfield suprised me...dude can act

Until they're on Netflix, I won't know....I'm done sitting in dark theaters with the soundtrack cranked up to brain damage levels and the dialogue buried beneath the sound of a door handle clicking. That and the unnecessary exposure to strangers farting and telling their kids to shut up....most of all....I love the pause button for my movie experience....I need a refill....click....I want some edible popcorn without a half pound of salt and greasy fake butter!..the exception would be Star Wars movies.....those are worth the foul smells and brain damage

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. On at 5:30 on ABC. The red carpet is on now.

Not even gonna bother. It's just gonna be one giant Trump bashing by a bunch of elitist Hollywood Liberals who are out of touch with America, and who make awards shows with other elitists just to pat themselves on the back.

Jimmy was pretty level handed. He said that people of different minds should get together and talk to each other and that's how we'll make America great again.

Meh, I don't even care anymore. The speech given by Ali was very short, sweet, and to the point though.

And the Hollywood Liberals aren't out of touch with America. Hillary got the most votes and Trump has a horrible approval rating.

I already started an Oscars thread in OT

Patting themselves on the back huh? Sounds familiar.

Keep telling yourself that. California does not speak for the rest of the country.

I've only heard of "LA LA Land" because people were posting about it on Facebook. Never heard of the other nominations.

One person, one vote. Trump is my President but the majority of the voters didn't vote for him and a majority of the country doesn't want him to be President.

The majority of the country is stuck in partisan, party politics. Trump doesn't give a shit about that, and that scares people.

But I am surprised to hear you say that he's your president. You have my compliments for that.

Alright, I've said my piece. Enjoy the Oscars.
